We ordered dinner from this restaurant via delivery. We were told 40 mins, 1.5 hours later we received half of what we... ordered. So we called and after speaking to 3 ppls over 2 phone calls they agreed to remake and deliver. An hour later wereceived what was supposed to be the remainder of our order. Nope, totally the wrong order again! So we call once more, it isnow 9 pm ?. Oh yes you did receive the wrong order we will send it tomorrow (what?!?!?) ok, fine whatever! ?. I typically order the same sushi rolls from Otowa, they are always very good and taste fresh. Today I tried wonton soup and it... was very big and had a lot of different additions which was nice. I ordered delivery for the first time, as I did not know thiswas an option. It came exactly within the estimated time and all the food was still hot, I would definitely order deliveryagain. Read more
We go here knowing the service will be bad, but martensville doesn?t have many options and this is the only option for... sushi. The good is always good, when it finally arrives after 40+ minutes, one persons entree at a time with a good ten min waituntil the next one, appetizers last. The front end staff are always super polite though and you can tell they?re trying. Thesushi is good, definitely. I wish it had been more like the old Otawa instead of this mix of Japanese and western Chinese it hasnow, but what are you gonna do. Maybe ordering for takeout is the way to go. Read more
At best it was adequate. Noodle item was greasy, shrimp and other meat dish where over done. This was the meal for two. We just... moved to Martensville and thought we would give them a try. Probably won't be back for a second try. Eating out is too expensiveto gamble on maybe better second time around. I wish them luck, but they're going to have to do better. Read more
Writing this as I'm waiting for my food. Was told it would be a 35 minute wait. I arrived after 50 minutes and was told it would... be another 15 minute wait. Foods always good but also always expect to wait twice as long as told! The front staff was great butthe staff making food need to be more accurate with their wait times! Read more
I will never order from Otowa again, I will order from Thiens or Bun?s House in Saskatoon, drive there and pick it up before... paying for a lukewarm meal I waited over 50 minutes for-with dry lemon chicken, sugary soy ?spring roll sauce?, overcookedvegetables and to boot paying $4.50 for a $73 order of food for delivery from 8 blocks away. Tom Yum soup was one of the best I've tried so far, original and flavourful, then followed by an out-of-this-world Beef... teriyaki, a really special fried rice, cantonese fried style noodles and shanghai noodles... everything was super delish! Read more
My wife and I were craving Chinese food and unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. Ordered online, food came... on-time as quoted when ordered arrived about 7pm. Delivery guy was nice. Food was hot but for the most part everything was wayovercooked almost like it was reheated out of the lunch buffet. Wonton soup noodles were over cooked to the point they wereslime, the ginger beef tasted like it had been deep fried 2x, special fried rice had raw shrimp (still grey)...
