Had been seeing this place and wanting to try it for a while. Got the lamb shank, garlic naan and some small pastry I can not... for the life of me recall the name of (not pictured). I almost did not buy because it seemed expensive but i am glad I didbecause it was absolutely delicious! I drive trucks and eat all over and this was easily one of the most enjoyable meals I havehad in months out on the road. We... found Taste of India located in a gas station in a town about 30 minutes from us (we thought it was weird until we've learnedlots of restaurants are located in gas stations in east Texas!) Went today for lunch and I'm still thinking about the foodhours later! It was authentic and layered with flavors that obviously took hours to cook. We have Indian friends who have madeus home cooked meals using authentic spices and ingredients from their home country and that's exactly what we got to experienceat Taste of India! So Good!
