Best dinner meal we've had in the 10 days and over 4700 miles we've been traveling on our motorcycle! For a very reasonable... price we got delectable bacon cheeseburgers and hand-cut fries and great air-conditioning - very important during this killerheat wave. We have stopped at several places whose A/C couldn't keep up. Counter girl was very kind and helpful on this firstvisit for us. Makes me think we'd ride another 4700 miles to return ???? Read more
They still serve a good burger and fries. But I've always get the Chicken Fried Steak. Few years back they were a very good... quality big steak. The portions were generous also. Now days I rate the steak as a tough grizzly small piece of meat. The batterhas changed also, between steak and batter very little flavor. The only way I'll eat there again is if I want a burger! Best burger I've ever had, hands down
The burgers are actually juicy, I cannot complain, it was real beef and they do their own Patties so the flavor was above my... burger expectations they do have free beans in the drinks area and they were really good and a little spicy. I would totallyrecommend to stop here if you are going on a trip and don?t want to get off the road, this is conveniently located next to 59 sowe did not add extra minutes to our drive. This place is awesome! Friendly staff and very attentive. Extremely clean and organized. Most important, the food was amazing!... Traditional burger and fries didn?t disappoint at all. East texas staple.. if you are passing through and trying to decide to go. just go, its good. try it but let's get down and... dirty... fix your trash can size.
