I took my daughter and grandchildren here for the first time and the food was great! We had the entire lower level to ourselves... because was the middle of the afternoon and my granddaughters had a blast playing darts too. Very nice atmosphere and thewaitress was attentive and very nice as well. Will eat there again. Read more

This was our first visit to the Wooden Nickel. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a draft beer. Also a Mushroom... Swiss burger with parmasean fries and a Bloody Mary. Service was quick and friendly, food was great, Bloody Mary was excellent! Will definitely return when in the area. Read more
The Wooden Nickel has never disappointed - the burgers and appetizers are great (try the fried pickles!!). I love the mix of... dive bar and delicious food. It's the one place we HAVE to stop every time we're in Marshall. Hoping to hit the Saturday bingoone of these times too ???? Read more
I travel all over the US, I stopped in on some downtime and I'll tell you, the food is on point. Parm fries were very good and... PB bacon burger would put it in my top 100. The bartender was friendly and place had a good vibe. Definitely check them out. Read more
My hunting group and I have been going here for our 3rd year now. They always seem to have us coming back for more. Out of all... the small places in town, this one has by far the best service you can find. The wait staff are absolutely incredible for howoutnumbered they are. The food has almost always been great except for one little instance of a French Dip meal I ordered. Let'sjust say... skip the French dip. Burgers are on point, and love the pretzel apps. If you want a place that knows they are goingto do the very best they can to serve you, the Wooden Nickel is your joint. ???? Just be careful though, them happy hour drinksadd up quick. ;) Read more
