The restaurant has great appeal from the location to the really good burgers But it hasn?t improved from the last owners we... loved the many choices of food all very good the desserts were wonderful a showcase of beautiful pastries and pies all homemade. Salads were great with a salad bar. Now there?s little choice and it seems the restaurant is trying to be Upscale in an areawhere people would rather just enjoy their food and be comfortable. After hearing so many good things about this place we decided to try it out. It was just ok, nothing spectacular. We asked to... sit outside as it was a beautiful evening but we?re told there is no outside seating?? Our server was kind and attentive,helpful with questions. The food came out at a lukewarm temperature nothing was hot. I was very disappointed in my side ofasparagus and the size of the onions in several of the dishes. It was inedible. Everyone in our group loved their meals. My salmon served island style was prepared in a surprising way?with toasted coconut?and... it was amazing. The cornbread pudding dessert was a unique spin on the dish. Creative food makes for a fun dining experience. Read more
Our first visit. Wonderful atmosphere, not busy @11am on Father's Day. Dine indoors only? Beautiful day, we would have preferred... to sit outdoors, on the cool patio. Polite & timely service. Confusion on mimosas...no champagne? But used 7up &cranberry/grape juice?????? (Not a mimosa.) Burrito with smoked pork was outstanding! Quiche was actually a casserole, lackingflavor. French toast was impressive in presentation & rich flavor. Prices were appropriate & fair. (Except the $6 fake mimosa.)It's not Denny's or McDonald's, thank goodness! Can't say enough great things about this little treasure. The views are amazing out here on the lake,especially in the fall with... all the colors. The food is amazing and the service is just as good. It's quiet it's quaint, I love driving over here for arelaxing dinner. It's inside of the state park which is perfect for an after dinner stroll.
