Had a pretty bad experience after having enjoyed this place a few times. Order was all wrong, poke had missed toppings, not all... the protein that was ordered. Did not taste very fresh. Add-on ratios very weird and not consistent from bowl to bowl. Friedchicken dish was a disaster. Tasted terrible, an oily mess, nothing crispy. What a shame. Read more

Furikake chicken was very salty. The mochiko chicken was as salty as the furikake chicken but with sauce on it. The rice is... maybe a day old? Anyways, I saw the bad reviews on Google but I just thought, well let me give some business to small businessowners especially if they are pushing Hawaiian cuisine. I was wrong. I don't think the owners have been to Hawaii or followed arecipe for mochiko or furikake chicken so it was disappointing that there was soooo much salt in it. It was inedible. It alsowas double fried which is okay for Korean chicken but mochiko and furikake chicken, idk. It was so disappointing. I was bornand raised in Hawaii so if you're craving Hawaiian plate lunches, head over to Halo Hawaiian Food in Arbutus! I don't usually give negative reviews unless they're warranted, and I feel that this is one of those times I need to report my... experience. I used one of the major food delivery services to place an order for Blowfish Poke, although for pickup. I arrivedat the establishment, but the doors were locked, even though the open light was on. Another customer was also trying to gettheir pickup order. I tried calling the phone number, but no one answered. I checked my phone and saw my order was cancelledabout ten minutes prior. So I was stuck with two hangry kids and no lunch. The worst part was that this is the second time thishappened - I had another order here previously and it was cancelled right before the pickup window. This is the reason I have togive this restaurant one star. I really enjoy the location in Clarksville, but there are other poke places now I will tryinstead given the poor business practices of this one. Read more

The Chicken Katsu here is the worst I have ever eaten. I picked up the meal at the time suggested and the chicken was cold (I... live 4 minutes from this place). The chicken must have been cooked several hours prior and sitting under a heat lamp because thechicken was dry and stringy. The crust was burnt and I couldn't even chew through it. The sauce is some mayo based product thatis not what normal Chicken Katsu comes with. There are way better places to eat around here, so don't bother going here. As aside note, I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and know what Chicken Katsu is supposed to taste like. This was the opposite of ChickenKatsu. Read more

If Poke and yumminess is your thing....then I have a place for you to try. Healthy, clean, and delicious feasting is in your... future at Blowfish. Staff is freindly and super helpful and the made to order Poke is fresh and tasty. I'm not sure howseating is going to work with 1 inside table but good luck! Brought my kids for the first time on Wednesday and I returned solo today (Friday) because I enjoyed my food so much. The staff... was very friendly and the quality of the ingredients was stellar. The only difference in the two experiences was the first daymy protein was mixed separately with certain ingredients before being added to the bowl and today it wasn't. It definitely makesa difference. Otherwise no complaints. Will be returning. I highly recommend. Read more

I have been so excited to try Blowfishes Hawaiian food! I visit their Clarksville location frequently for the bowls and LOVE... THEM! I am a lover of all things Hawaii, the food, culture, people, land, everything! So I was beyond excited to have arestaurant close by to satisfy my Hawaiian cravings! Unfortunately I was disappointed with what I received. I ordered the tasteof Hawaii (obviously), they said it would take 15 mins, 30 mins later we finally got it! I wasn?t too upset at the wait, Iwanted fresh food and that isn?t fast. But the food wasn?t good. The shrimp were mushy, the pork had no flavor and the loco mocopatty was over cooked. The musubi was good but the rice fell apart. It may have just been a bad day for them or the taste ofHawaii box is over priced for what it is. The staff were very nice and felt bad for the wait.
