Coming from out of town to visit family and my daughter searched on Google for the closest breakfast place. J'aime Le Cafe... Marrero had the highest google rating. The large coffee, small hot chocolate, and breakfast plate that included eggs, sausagepatty, hashbrowns, and 2 pieces of buttered toast was $13.00 with tax. Loved this little place until today. Their chicken salad (which I usually love) was swimming in so much chipotle sauce that I... had to wipe it off and it made my stomach hurt later. I don?t know who changed the recipe but it was such a letdown for me. Read more
I've only ever driven through for coffee before my brother came to visit last year. We decided to sit and eat breakfast before... starting our day. There were four of us. The food and coffee was delicious and we sat outside at one of the tables under thepergola. It is a very tiny diner so while there is like 3 tables inside, it can get crowded and that is not for me. It's more ofa drive through place, but we were really happy with our dining experience. The drive through line can get really long, but Ifind that it moves fast. If I lived closer I'd make it my go-2 place. Read more
I can?t express how much I love coming here. The coffee is amazing, but it?s the customer service that wins. The girls there are... so kind and genuine. I was having the type of terrible day that makes you break down and cry, but the beautiful souls at J?aimeLe Cafe made my day with their sweet spirit and delicious coffee. Thank you! Read more

What a surprising quaint little place here in Marrero. The food is great value, although I'd give the Avocado Toast a miss.... Pretty much just avo smeared on cold toast. The big breakfast, however, was wonderful. Access is easy from the front, and thereis plenty of room for differently abled. This has to be the least expensive place we've eaten at in the USA. Definitely getyourself to the restroom if you can. It's the largest, cleanest, and well appointed bathroom on the planet. Give the muffins atry. Read more
Went in mid morning on a Friday. The place was nicely decorated and had what appeared to be a lively, local crowd. All was good... with the ordering process, the order it self was not so good. Received a latte instead of a cappuccino. Large drip coffee, whilelarge, was not good. Ordered 2 eggs with grits. The eggs were good and the grits weren?t bad except a few not so good lumps.Avocado toast was below basic and not good. They also added mayonnaise for no apparent reason. It definitely was not asked for.Not a horrible experience, we tried to support this place instead of going to the near by Starbucks. In the future I?ll go tothe near by Starbucks. Read more
Me and my family from Houston came in the morning, the ladies were so sweet and helpful, the food was amazing, I?m obsessed!!
