How did this place convince people that burnt coffee is good coffee? It's a great marketing scheme: convince people you've been... doing it wrong for hundreds of years, burn the beans, (which decreases caffeine content), then when your first cup wears off waytoo quickly, you head here for a pick me up because they're the closest, (even though they're also the most expensive)... Thenoffer high calorie non coffee stuff because the last cup of coffee you had was awful and didn't give you any energy, and sinceyou're still so close to one, you keep coming back. Rinse and repeat. As they where draining the old remnants of the aged dark brew coffee, I ordered an unpretentious large cup of dark roast, the... barista swiftly pivoted and intercepted the final slurry from the bottom of the urn with my cup, which was only filled 3/4s ofthe way before the coffee ran out. She then had the audacity but lacked to sleight of hand for me to witness her topping off mycup with the decaf... and charged me full price... 2 out of 5 stars for ingenuity. Read more
My nemesis works here...so ocassionally I'll go in and order a drink and then when they call my name I will tell them that they... made the wrong drink. However, at the end of the day when the sun goes down, it's tasty and they do a good job. Read more
The atmosphere is nice, they have free WiFi, but the drinks are overpriced and the quality does not match it unfortunately. The... staff however was polite and respectful and the service was quick and easy. Read more
Great experience today. After standing around, I wondered if the cashier forgot about my tall coffee. I went up to ask, but he... was busy. However, the manager saw me, and with smile on her face asked what I was waiting on. After asking if I preferred darkor light roast, she quickly poured the cup for me. As a customer, I felt valued. I enjoy the NMU Starbucks because the staff is much friendlier than any other Starbucks I've visited. They are always happy to... help me pick out a new drink, answer my questions, are patient with large orders, and do not get fussy if I don't know theStarbucks lingo. They are great! Read more
If you go between classes be prepared to wait. But if you run in during normal class time there isn't a long, if any, wait.... Serves everything a normal Starbucks would. They don't accept the Starbucks App though. Read more
