Usually pretty decent but last time we went there were a couple issues relating to dishware and then our food. First of all the... dishware we got was old and dirty. I understand cups have some wear and tear from years of use but the plates given to use hadscum on them still. For a restaurant you expect better. For the food I got the steak and eggs. Now everything besides the steakwas good but the steak had obviously not been cooked fresh. It was brought out too fast and was cold despite beingcooked. Usually they're really good but kinda disappointed this time. Read more

We believed the sign, "Best breakfast 9 years in a row". Apparently Marquette needs a good breakfast place. We not only bought... breakfasts, but we bought all 5 remaining cinnamon rolls at $3.99 each plus tax, thinking they looked good and our grandkidswould gobble them up. Big mistake on both parts! The eggs, coffee, and tea were fine; the "crispy" bacon was fatty and soggy. The pancakes HAD TO BE cut with a knife; a fork wouldn't go through them. But the cinnamon rolls were the biggestdisappointment of all. Nothing but frosted, heavy doughballs! My daughter took one bite and started laughing "These taste likePlay-dough!". Great. Grandsons wondered if the animals on their acreage might eat them. That's where they ended up; on theedge of the woods. Little to no cinnamon taste, either. Anyway, it was an almost $50 lesson learned. As my dad would havesaid, "I've been there twice; first and last!". Read more

Went into town to make an ATV purchase and stopped at Jeffery's on the way. (My wife looked up the place beforehand and she... read the owners and I share the same last name, so quick disclaimer; I'm not related to the owner) No wait to be seated on thatFriday morning. Server was brusque but efficient. Food was out around 10 minutes after ordering. The biscuits and gravy weregood and I also had the Jefferys Combo 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 sausages. Prices were good. Neat side note: Map in theentranceway had toothpicks placed for each visitors home city. Read more

Service was little slower then normal, however seemed busier then normal as well. Thanks forkeeping tidy and service was polite and uplifting in spirits. Enjoyed my dining experience. Read more
