Barrel & Beam has some of the best ciders and wines I have ever had. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is so nice. We... hosted our wedding in the event space in September of 2022, and we could not recommend it more. Alex, the coordinator, was sokind and helpful throughout the whole process. The event space looked amazing, the day went so smoothly, and we had the besttime. I cannot think of a better place in the MQT area to celebrate and relax with the people you love. We had our wedding reception here, great beer and wine (obviously), great people, super helpful and flexible with timelines, and... they even had complimentary coffee for our guests. We loved that guests could stroll to the bar and seating area, and that theyknew all the local vendors. Alex was available for us whenever we had questions. Part of our trips is trying new breweries when possible. So we thought we?d give here a try Saturday evening before dinner. Not... hard to find and amble parking. The menu seemed a bit too fancy for us. Use to seeing the standard Blonde, IPA, and stouts. Myson was able to find an IPA but my wife and I had a bit more trouble picking something out. Didn?t see any list for what was ontap so the three we got all came from cans/bottles. Son really liked his. I?m sure my wife and I just made the wrong selection.She only took a few drinks of hers and I drank about half. Absolutely loved this place. Really special and unique beer! A must stop when you?re in the UP. Ended up buying a ton of beer... because you can?t get stuff like this anywhere else. Read more
Good place to go for some quick food, they do have vegetarian options (we had Tofu Sandwich and vegetable rolls, both were... good). They've a good collection of Cider and Mead if interested. Place was nice, live music was going on. Prices on the menuwere not expensive. Restrooms were clean. Overall, would recommend trying out! Read more

We celebrated our wedding at Barrel + Beam in May 2022. The venue is beautiful, the beers great, and the staff was amazing! Alex... was super helpful throughout all of our planning and needs, and ran around making sure everything flowed smoothly the day of.The bar team did a fantastic job suggesting drinks for our guests who weren't as beer savvy. The whole team was veryaccommodating and helpful throughout the night, making planning, set up, and clean up nice and easy! We swing by the brewerywhenever we are heading through Marquette. I've been here a number of times. Once for a food event that showcased the talents of local restaurant chefs. The event was... fantastic. Their beer offering is mostly ciders and sours. It's worth talking to the bartenders if you have never sampled thistype of beer. They offer frozen smelted pizzas and heard recently they opened and kitchen and look forward to trying. Don'texpect a run of the mill brewery, they are definitely introducing your palette to many different flavors at barrel and beam,definitely recommend trying. Read more
