Oh heck YES!!! So good! The seaweed salad was out of this world and the sushi was on point delicious. Say no more.
We've been eating at this place for years and it was always a very pleasant experience and the food ALWAYS tasted amazing.... Yesterday ( 3/09/22 ) it was THE WORST experience we've ever had I think in any restaurant. Waiters were constantly ( and I meanevery 5 minutes ) coming to our table asking if we are ready to order, after we ordered appetizers, they immediately started tocome over and ask if we are ready to order main courses. They tried taking our plates away despite the fact that there was stillfood there and we were still eating it! After we were done with our main courses, they brought us check without us even askingfor it or asking if we would like desert. Mind you we did have a reservations and came on time. New to the area and my fiancé and I are big sushi eaters. Tried a few local spots until our neighbors recommended Osushi. Went... on a Friday night for dinner and the sushi was excellent. Really fresh and delicious. The best we?ve tried in the area and willdefinitely be back. Read more
First time here, had the black rice sushi- absolutely delicious. Watching our GI load/Sugars - wife is expecting so no white... rice. Had a good amount of vegie sushi. Black rice has a nutty flavor! Was way to good! Honestly better consistency vsbrown. Definitely not cheap , but for a mindful meal its not bad. We had the Kani salad- huge portion very good! Sushi always tastes good. We ordered 6 rolls today for the lunch special (not all are pictured). Each lunch comes with miso... soup, salad and the little pack you see which had a napkin, chopsticks, spoon and toothpick. The sushi always has good sizeingredient ratios rather than skimping out like some places. We will be back again! Read more
Some interesting and good special signature dishes... Nothing out of this world but good. Service is bland to unattentive. Food... came out pretty fast but the servers were almost borderline awful. It was almost as if they were annoyed. Good food is great butgood food with bad service detracts from the total experience. Read more
I do not know about sushi as I am a vegetarian. As for vegetarian dishes, I do not want to recommend this restaurant.... Particularly, do not order sautéed pepper. I was shocked by a dish full pepper. It was not hot but salty. The vegetable gyojawas probably bought from an Asian market. It was definitely not handmade at this restaurant. Considering it, it is overpriced.Lastly, vegetable tempura dinner was also not my favorite. I imagined tempura that is crunch outside soft inside. But tempuraswere hard inside and out. Also, it came only with a bowl of rice. The rice was dry and firm, which was my least favorite rice.In Japan, tempura is usually served with salt. It seems that the cook does not have any knowledge of Japanese tempura. Inconclusion, it is not a restaurant for vegetarians, at least for me. Read more
The food was very good. Definitely deserves 4.5. The reason for 4 is cleanliness (restroom specifically).
