This is the friendliest place in West Virginia. Danny (the proprietor) creates the warmest and most fun bar atmosphere I've... ever seen outside of a big city. I'm here for 2 more days and I can guarantee I'll be back on both. Read more
What a great town and what a perfect place to have a drink. You can have your drinks here and order from the restaurant next... door but the sandwhiches in house are better. Great selection of local beers but they can also make any drink you want. Somenights there is music. The vibe is always good. We came to this town for the scenic highway one year and stopped at this littlebar. We had such a great trip we came back the next year and brought 5 extra people with us. Read more
We had a great time at the old mountain bar! My husband an I was attending the Roadkill festival and stopped in to have a few... beers and ended up staying 8 hours!! Very nice and clean place. Friendly staff and the owner Danny was great! The only complaintwe have was the choice in music. We were disappointed we drove 6 hrs to a quiet mountain town to hear rap and hip hop music wecould of heard in a city bar. We were looking forward to listening to old country/ western music to go with the atmosphere.But all in all it was a one and done experience. Read more
