Reviews for Greenbrier Grille and Lodge in Marlinton, WV
We stopped in around 6:30 PM, as the Road Kill Cook Off Festival was ending. No doubt they were slammed ALL DAY. When we sat... down, the owner / manager made it clear that the staff were exhausted and apologized in advance for any issues. Even with hisdisclaimer, the staff were super friendly, food came quick and was great, and we will definitely return. Read more
Had a great breakfast here a few weeks ago. Advertised breakfast all day. Changed policy to no breakfast after 11:30. Arrived a... little before that time and no breakfast being served. Very disappointing! Why not serve breakfast late on Sunday? Got a blt. Read more
Great restaurant right on the river. You can even feed the ducks. Excellent service, friendly and accommodating. We stopped in... off the Greenbrier trail. Hamburgers are very good as well as the southwest salad, Read more
Stopped by for a Sunday breakfast while cycling the Greenbrier River Trail. Was in the mood for a rib-sticking down-home... breakfast, which is exactly what this place delivered. Not only was the food tasty, well-portioned, and a good value, it wasaccompanied by friendly service and an inspiring balcony view. The GG&L checked all the boxes for a simple family-orientedcafe-style restaurant. Read more
My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast one morning. Let me just say that the best thing about this place is the view!! If... it's not too cold, find a spot outside right along the river. It is such a nice add-on to this place. There is plenty to pickfrom on the menu; kind of your typical selection of options. We loved this spot and would come back in a heartbeat! Read more
Sad we?re from out of state, because this is a place we would come back to time and time again if we could! The food was... legitimately so good. The baked Mac and cheese, a must! There is outdoor seating overlooking the River where you can feed theducks! Brian(Bryan?) our server was great! So friendly, it was almost like we had met before! He treated us like regulars and itwas our first time there. If you?re in the area, do yourself the favor and stop in! ALSO! Side note. We had cell service whilehere!! We had just spent the day (literally 8 hours) kind of winging it because we had no cell service to find out where we werelol. Read more

Had tried to swing in there a couple times with no luck on our end and finally made it. Not quite what we expected but pretty... much down-home cooking. Affordable.. but nothing over the top on our end. Lot of mashed potato/green bean type meals, had aburger and she had country fried steak. Again, decent home cooking but nothing over the top.
