I dined at Tio Taco + Tequila Bar today for the first time. My waiter Antonio was great, and he told me about his favorite... dishes on the menu. I had the Mango Habanero Shrimp for my appetizer, and I thought it was mediocre. The sauce tasted nothinglike mango as it was described on the menu. I wouldn?t order that again. For dinner I ordered a Chicken Tinga Taco and a FishTaco. The Chicken Tinga Taco was very good, and the Fish Taco was so delicious! The Fish Taco was packed with Mexican flavor,and was the better of the two. For dessert I had the Rum Banana Cheesecake Chimichanga which was amazing! You can?t leavewithout ordering it! We sat outside in the fire pit area, it was a very nice day. I had the margarita flight which was pretty good. I had the... tacos(all gluten free except fried fish) the tinga chicken was very moist and tender but felt the meat was lacking any realflavor. The Al pastor was super great and tasty, the fried fish taco my husband said needed a bit more flavor-spice, the carneasada was good. My husband had the short rib enchiladas which he said were amazing, good amount of spiciness and flavor theyhowever are not gluten free. The Mexican street corn was not grilled but still good. Bit more pricy than I anticipated as 4tacos was roughy $24 and the little flight of margaritas was $18 would have given more stars except the prices are a bit highfor two people with 2 entrees, the flight a shot and a beer, and 1 appetizer cost us $100 plus a tip on top. The food was really good. The Flight of Margaritas however left us wanting something so much better. The flavoring seemed very... chunky and didn?t really make the flavor any better. Our waitress was really good, overall good lunch date. Read more

Well, we started off on a bad note. We went during "happy hour" and you only get happy hour specials when you sit at a crowded... bar during a pandemic. It's their corporate policy. Gee thanks for such an intelligent policy. Really inspires me to want totrust you're sensibilities and health decisions as a company. And no employees are wearing masks, inside or out. 11/27/2022: Creative menu with good service on a light Sunday afternoon. The truffle guacamole and street corn is a must try.... Bar looks like a good spot for a drink or two. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Enjoy! Read more
