Good if you like reheated, pre-made food. Most items come from a bag or a can. Spend your money at a real restaurant instead.
This related to the Owl and Firkin. will start out with the positive. Nachos were tasty with a ton of cheese, not cheap at $16... but kudos to the kitchen for loading it up. Service was ok. The main issue I had was that I ordered a whiskey neat and as pertheir menu I expected 1.5oz. It looked light in the glass but it was dark, once I got it in my mouth I would bet my life it wascloser to .75oz, very disappointing and because of this I will never recommend this place nor go back. This is the oldest scamin the book. I got an email back from someone at the Firkin, Scott - no last name or title telling me the shot should have been1oz and he is sure it was measured out properly. That appears to be contrary to what the Firkin's own menu states (see imagebelow, spirits are to be 1.5oz's). Kudos for the Firkin for defending their position so poorly. My advice to your company is totake customer service a little more seriously. Read more
Wow this evening has been an amazing experience at the Pheasant pub, at 900 Avenue Rd. A fabulous establishment! The server's... are Jena and Kyla, a great team that works extremely well together.
