Wow was I pleasantly surprised by this spot as I think it?s new owners and a previous business elsewhere that moved here and... they are doing it right. I popped in quick to try their Jerk Chicken and see what it?s saying and it was authentic and amazingto say the least. I ordered the regular size but I think for a few dollars more I?d get the large next time as it was that goodand even if you don?t finish it, it seems this food will hold very well till later on or the next day if need be. The Chickenwas juicy and well cooked and fell off the bone and had some really nice flavour to it as well. The rice and peas were justright too and the coleslaw was creamy and blended into all the flavours perfectly. That might be one of the top 3 Jerk ChickenDinners I?ve tried in Toronto and that says a lot because I?ve tried many and even in Jamaica as well and this ranks right upthere with the best of them. I also grabbed a Spicy Beef Patty as well and it was nice and flaky and had good flavour as well.I?m sure I?ll be returning again to try some of their other dishes one day since I had a great experience today. Also thegentleman serving at the front was very polite and made you feel welcomed which is always a bonus. Great Jamaican food. First time trying this restaurant. I got a regular jerk chicken dinner, festivals, jerk chicken sandwich... and patty. The portions are good compared to similar restaurants. The food taste great. I recommend visiting and supporting thissmall business. Read more

The platters here are huge, enough to feed someone like me 2 meals. They're generous with the rice and beans, and I would have... liked more coleslaw and chicken because they were so good. The large is worth it for $15, and the lunch special for $8 seemswell worth it too. Chris Jerk is great, and Stacy's is definitely killing it as competition. I'll be coming back for sure. Read more

I was absolutely devastated when I found out Stacy's old East Markham location closed out of the blue, indefinitely around a... year ago. Stacy's was my absolutely favourite caribbean restaurant in Markham and nothing else came close. Imagine my excitementwhen I found out she found a new location at Pharmacy/Sheppard which is still fairly close to me! I got the Jerk Pork today andit is exactly the same as I remember it. Went this afternoon based on a recommendation and always passing by it. Chris? Jerk was always my go to spot for jerk... chicken/rice n beans, but Stacy?s place pretty much converted me today haha. The chicken was tender and well seasoned and a goodamount of spice! You know these type of places are good at what they do when they give you boned-chicken with no knife utensil.The chicken meat pretty much slid off the bones with a fork. Easily one of my favourite hidden gems in this part of Markham East. I first gave this place a try on a whim and was blown away... by how good everything was! Having been back several times now, I can also attest that they're remarkably consistent. Mypersonal favourite is the goat curry and plantains - the goat is always seasoned wonderfully and is incredibly tender and moist.The plantains are also a great texture and have a nice sweetness to them. I've also tried the jerk chicken and can say that it'ssimilar to the goat in tasting great and not being dry at all. Although the food has a slight kick, it's quite mild, is neveroverpowering, and retains a balanced flavour first and foremost. The food is also quite affordable and they're generous withthe portions - as you can see, they are great with packing the boxes tight.
