Very great selection in the special menu. A welcoming place and we enjoy our meal here.
I went here with the wifey for a lunch date on Friday without kids. Wifey ordered the Lamb burger and I ordered the Veal... sandwich. The place was waited by 1 waitress so service was a bit slow, not the waitresses fault. When the food finally camewifeys burger was fresh but the lamb patty was a bit dry, Otherwise tasted ok. My Veal came out and when I looked at the cheese(see picture) there were 2 mold spots. I brought the plate in to the waitress who checked with the cook who said it was "bluecheese". What surprised me was that the Veal burger did not have Blue Cheese and only mozzarella. I told the waitress no I'm noteating it as it's clearly mold. Ended up ordering thr Bison Burger that came out fresh and fries were fresh. Burger tastedgood. I had asked for a manager to discuss the situation only to be told they don't come in until the evening. The waitresscomped my 1 beer for two reasons, 1 - she couldn't find the drink in thr system and 2 - she felt bad. I'm not happy that thechef tried to lie and test me as a customer who had an issue with mold on my sandwich. The menu clearly stated Mozzarella cheesenot Blue cheese. Hidden gem!! Passed by this place many times and finally came for brunch! We were pleasantly surprised! The chicken club wrap is... on their $12 entree special and it was delicious, huge piece of chicken breast in every bite! Classic breakfast was yummy aswell! Following my neighbor's recommendation, we visited the friendly restaurant for the first time and it was a great experience! We... visited on Sunday evening, 6pm, and we got seated almost immediately. We ordered from the $14 menu, kidney pie and sole fish.The pie was outstanding, but the fish was tasteless (like boiled fish?). The service was great, the restaurant was nicelydecorated, and the atmosphere wasn't too loud, we were able to converse comfortably. We will be back to try more from the $14menu for sure! Read more
