Good place for a HK diner experience. Fairly efficient even when there's a line for a table. Good number of tables there and the... portions are pretty good for the price. Wait staff are friendly and very responsive compared to some other places. Lots to tryon their menu, so will likely come back. They also have a few pretty cool looking desserts. Decent franchised HK cafe food with lots of combos and kids meals. Multiple locations. Good portion and flavours. Chili oil is... great. Sometimes service can be a bit lacking. If they close at 10pm they will start giving out bills, take out boxes, sweepthe floor and turn off tv and music by 9:45pm. It can get a bit uncomfortable. Read more
We went to Pheonix on Raymerville on weekday evening time, it was pretty busy inside but we got a seat right away. We got served... hot tea and menus right away. We got the classic B01 Hainese Chicken with Chicken Oil Rice ($16.50), this is probably the mostwell known dish here and it did not disappoint. The rice and chicken were well seasoned and the chicken was very smooth. Thechicken broth was also very good. We also tried the G33 Pad Thai (w/ Shrimp, Chicken, Bean Sprout & *Roasted Peanuts) ($16). Ithad a lot of chicken and shrimp, but way too much peanuts. We couldn?t finish it and had to pack it up for the next day. Theprice is mid and the portions are decent. The waiters were nice, but they did forget about us a few times since we were in thecorner. They make you order online now, which is actually better because you can see all the possible substitutions/additions you can... make to a dish, and even sold out items, instead of asking the waiter who could forget or might not know. The baked pork chopwith cream and tomato sauce was really delicious and for me, it's enough to cover two meals so it's really worth it. I alsoreally like their iced lemon tea because it was the ideal sweetness. The only thing was when my friends and I were paying ourbill, I paid my bill in cash and was expecting change. They never gave it until they later walked by and asked if anyone wasmissing change. I said I was, and when it came, it wasn't even the correct bill or change amount. I think they were expectingpeople to automatically give a certain percentage for tips, which I don't think you're technically allowed to do unless it wasposted. This was just a small issue, and service was great anyway, so I don't really care, but it was the first time thishappened to me. Read more
We ordered a children set, a Satay beef noodle amd Korean chicken rice tonight. Everything taste good. We used to eat little so... we can keep another half portion of each dish for tomorrow's lunch. The beef in Satay noodle is mild spicy and the Koreanchicken rice is hot :D Read more
This place is always good in a pinch. And they have the awesome combo meal deals for feeding the whole family with delicious... food! Love the Asian cafe style food and always so many different options available and Phoenix doesn?t have a shortage of foodoptions either! The service was awesome and super quick in getting my takeout order ready and on time! Great job and willdefinitely return to try that unlimited amount of food options! Hong Kong style café! Been here numerous times for breakfast, lunch & even dinner and this place doesn?t disappoint! Speedy... service...from placing order to foods brought to the table took no longer than 10 minutes. Authentic HK café foods &reasonably priced. Decent HK milk tea!
