Your run of the mill take out Chinese food place! But still so tasty! When they offer those fritters that are kinda sweet in... the circle or football shape iykyk I usually am so happy that I can get it and the rest of the meal just goes so well forme! This place is no exception! And I can?t believe I can get these fritters any time! Also the ho fun was nice! Like this daipai dong spots in scarbough kinda taste! and having the beef honfun after so long totally hit the spot! Service was quick as weordered for pick up and immediately ready when I got there on time from when they told me it would be available! And the lady atthe counter was super friendly too! Service was very slow. Took a very long time for the cashier to attend the desk. Egg fried rice tastes good, but the chicken... wings were VERY salty. Not horrible but a little unpleasant. They should keep their deep fried items in styrofoam with a hole inthe container so it doesn?t get soggy. There is potential but customer service should be better Read more
Got takeout from Lee's Kitchen recently and found the experience very good. Was looking for an alternative to Chinese restaurant... chains and found Lee's Kitchen online. I was not sure why there were so many polarizing reviews, but I found the quantity andquality of my food excellent and as expected. I particularly enjoyed the "Salt & Pepper Squid" which had a pleasantspiciness. I think Lee's Kitchen is not the cheapest offering for Chinese food, but the quality is fine and the price isreasonable. Read more
Something changed and not in a good way. Used to live in Markham and got Lee?s Kitchen all the time. It was so good that I?d... even travel to Markham to get it when I lived in Vaughan and Scarborough afterwards. Their general tso chicken used to be thebest thing ever but when I recently got it, it was not good at all. So disappointed at the menu change. Would give anything tohave some of their original receipe food again. Read more
A friend recommended theirs place so we gave it a shot. Got the Bombay chicken, chicken pakoras and mushroom fried rice. On... the plus - the owner was super nice, hence why 2 (vs 1) star. However, the food was absolutely atrocious. The pakoras tastedlike tasteless cardboard. The Bombay chicken was over spicy with no other flavours, and the meat appeared to beundercooked. This was probably some of the worst Chinese / Hakka food I have ever had. Definitely will not be back, andcertainly do not recommend, which is so unfortunate as the owner really is such a nice guy. We ordered from Lee?s kitchen and it was THE WORST take out experience ever! The chicken pad thai is ALL NOODLES, the cook... dumped a pound of sugar and 5 tiny pieces of chicken and tofu for taste and presentation. The sesame beef was a horrifyingsight... definitely memorable but not in a good way. The meat was unrecognizable, black and soggy, drenched in oil inside thecontainer it?s swimming in. The texture is ?extremely tough?. Now I know what it?s like to chew on real leather. Thank you Lee?sKitchen for this wonderful experience! We will not be ordering take out from this place again. Worst chinese take out of my life. We ordered D5 dinner for 4. Breaded shrimp with the shells on?? Here?s how to eat this: peel... off all the breading along with the shells (where all the flavour was), and eat a shrimp with nothing on it. Egg rolls werefilled with tasteless paste. So strange we?ve never seen anything like them before. How do you fail an egg roll?? Noodlesarrived crispy, dry and clearly pre-cooked and with little burnt tips. Turns out we?re supposed to pour on the bucket of sauceprovided. Ok? Black pepper beef was ok, but it?s exactly the same as the stuff we were supposed to pour on the drynoodles!
