Super slow service... We placed an order for 4 ice creams and it took more than 20 minutes to be fully served. They served... people who came after we did and they had to go back to the freezer for each flavour. Very poor experience. Not coming back!!!!! Read more

Whenever I?m in downtown Markham I HAVE to stop by La Diperie for a soft serve. It?s so yummy! Ice cream actually tastes like... cream and the chocolate actually tastes like chocolate. Top it off with chopped almonds and you are literally in heaven. So good- now I?m craving another one! Read more

La Diperie opened up several months ago in Downtown Markham, in a space shared by South Street Burger. Montreal-based La Diperie... has been in the ice cream and desserts business since 2014 and is best known for their soft serve ice cream dipped in saucyglazes and covered with toppings. They also sell mini donuts, cake slices (including Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices),sundaes, hard scoop ice cream, and milkshakes. The staff were friendly and helpful. They patiently answered the questions of myfamily members. We ordered the Coffee Crisp milkshake which was thick and rich, with a noticeable chocolate and coffee flavour.It was slightly sweet for my palate. My family enjoyed Cheesecake Factory mango cheesecake slices dipped in milk chocolate andpistachio glazes respectively. Prices are steeper than say Dairy Queen but the products offered here are on a premium level.There was less impact on my wallet given we were able to use coupons we received in the mail. My daughter and I were excited to try this place; however, it was a disappointing experience. My daughter got the single scoop... cookie dough + nerds on ice cream ($5-6?!) it was so small and hollow inside? it tasted like mint too? soft serve needed moreOreo. Heard about this place from some of my influencer friends on Instagram & gave them a try since I was in the area. I bought 6 of... their regular donuts. Looks great but as soon as I took my first bite, I was hugely disappointed. These should not be calleddonuts. The dough was dense & dry... was like eating dry bread... no no no thank you.
