One of my favorite places to dine when it comes to Ox Tails and Jerk Chicken. Prices are reasonable also.

The service here was 5 Star and that doesn?t even include the food. The food was 10 star for me. I ordered the grilled salmon... and it was cooked to perfection along with the cabbage, white rice and coco bread. The coco bread was so warm and soft. Theoxtails were amazing, I sampled some of my husband?s and the gravy was just mmmmmm mmmmmm good! I will definitely take the tripagain to come get some authentic Caribbean food. Read more

I visited Marion in June, before moving here. The food at Rasta Hut is AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN CUISINE! As a chef, I know it when I... see it, smell it & taste it! Ive also been to Jamacia a few times so...yeah! The owner is native Jamacian. You GOTTA get thebeans & cabbage if nothing else! I had wings too that were dry rubbed & OUTSTANDING! You'll be back on those ALONE! Charm was agreat bartender/server! Had lots of fun with her & a few regulars. The music was loud BUT it was 10PM on a FRIDAY! So it wasA-okay! I'm told by people who'veived here since they opened & it's not always loud. During "regular dining hours" theatmosphere is just fine! Did I say "beans & cabbage" yet? ???? yvette~ Read more

Great service. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. My wife's jerk chicken was tasty. My escovitch fish was quite good. The... sides of cabbage and rice were perfect. The Jamaican beef pie was very tasty. We'd come back. Read more

We traveled really far through the back roads in the Country to get to this place. The restaurant was really nice had a bar but... we got our food to go. We got a variety... We paid $22 after tax for a large oxtail it had 3 dang oxtail and one bone likeseriously and it didn't taste like authentic, I don't know who is cooking in there but they need to reevaluate their seasoningand cooking style if they want to capture authentic Caribbean food. The stew chicken was wild tasting and the jerk chickentasted like pure smoke. I really wanted to like this place but it just wasn't good. Best thing I had was the beef patties. Spentover $50 and was glad I could support this local business but I'd never come back. Read more

I wanted to like it because there are few restaurants to eat at around here. The best thing I ate were the French fries. I took... the plantains home. They were black and tasted burnt. Went in the trash. The 6 wings I got and ate there had barbecue on them, small wings with very little meat. My son got the jerk wings. He kept saying they tasted gamey, a weird strange taste but he atethem except 1/2 of a wing left which he wanted me to try. I initially smelled it, smelled like something dead, I'm notexaggerating, attempted to taste it, tasted like it smelled. Spit it out because it literally smelled like road kill. We bothare feeling a little sick now after getting home. This was our first time here and our last. It took forever to get the food.Coke products but no diet coke or anything diet but water. The waitress was very nice. Read more
