I have to say the plates/dishes here are... better than the stuff I used to find and eat at carts and restaurants back in New York. Will stop by for a meal whenever I?mclose to Cedar Rapids. Come get the Gyro. Seriously, if you like a real good big city Gyro come to this place. The sauce to meat proportions are... perfect. Everything is cooked just right. You can eat there if you want, but takeout is quick and easy so I prefer it. The factthat it?s a great bang for your buck is just an added bonus. I would still eat here if they charged double. I?ve gotten New York Gyro a number of times and have been more than satisfied. One time, I?ve had to wait a little longer for my... food, but they compensated me for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary but it goes to show their kindness and passion forbusiness! Food is just incredible. Huge portions and is ready in a jiffy. I live in Colorado and was in Marion on business for five days. I ate at New York Gyro three times! This is the best gyro I?ve... ever had in my life, and I?ve had a lot of gyros. Don?t try to eat this thing in the car because it is absolutely stuffed withmeat and you need two hands to hold onto it. I also tried the cheesesteak and it was just as amazing. The owner is fantastic andI love that he?s back on the grill, cashing customers out and flat out putting in the work to earn these accolades. Man, this was really, really good! Got the gyro combo and the chicken kabab over rice (with sauce over the top). The potato... samosas were very tasty, as were the onion rings. Outstanding!! Visiting my daughter in town and thought we?d try a new place.Awesome gyro, but I?ll try the kabob next time. A ton of food and it was just all so good.
