Awful. Staff was rude we went to sit down and the cook began telling rudely we needed to order first. Menu only has hotdogs and... burgers. They had one guy cooking and the food tasted awful. I don't know how this place has remained open we will not bereturning. Read more
We went when they opened at 10am. They unlocked the doors around 10:05am. When we went in there was no one to let us know that... we order at the register first. It had been a while since being there and last I knew they still had servers. They were friendlybut wanted to charge me for just 1 barbecue sauce. When I said nevermind and started to walk away she told me the big boss is ina good mood and she won't charge me for it. For me, I don't think I want to go back. I have ate here several times since being in Marion the last 3 months. The food and milkshakes are on par with any other Steak... and Shake. The employees are friendly and restaurant is clean. Like most restaurants right now they always seem to be shortstaffed. Hey, it?s 2022 no one has to work anymore, right? But they keep the orders going and get them out as quickly aspossible with the staff on duty. Read more
The drive thru person was rude! I called and spoke to management who informed me that there are steak and shakes in Muncie and... Kokomo! Really? I understand staffing is difficult and I rarely complain these days, but she was rude! Does this steak and shakeNOT want business? They just reopened a little bit ago. I?ve been sending them customers. Might have to rethink that! I heardthey?re under New management maybe they?ll want to talk to me? Nice to be able to come in and dine. November, 13th, 22, 2 p.m., My wife and I ordered and paid. Sat down, 10 min. passed and... then the manager asked if we got our food. No. They forgot to cook. Food was good. My wife went to the restroom, the manageralso went, used the toilet and walked out without washing her hands. Gross!! We won't be back. Read more
