I've been here twice and the service and food has been good. Only complaint is the first time my fiance and I went the soup... wasn't very warm the vegetables were still crunchy, but the chicken dinner was great. The second time my fiance ordered theprime rib, which was excellent and I got a smash burger. The "smash burgers" are not truly smash burgers though. I ordered adouble because smash burgers are typically very thin and when it came out I was met with 2 thick patties. It was a veryflavorful burger, but definitely not a smash burger and shouldn't be advertised as so. Otherwise overall, it's a nice place toget a drink and a meal. Will definitely be back. Read more
My experience here was awful from the moment I sat down. The waitress was totally and unacceptably rude! I don't drink so I... asked her if she could make me a mock tail. Her response was, No, unless you're familiar with how to make one. I'm sorry butthat is not how you talk to a customer! Then our food arrives. I ordered a half chicken dinner. It was awful ???? the mashedpotatoes and gravy were lumpy, the cole slaw was sour and the chicken was so dry. I just about choked trying to swallowit. Getting back to that waitress. I didn't get her name but she's thin with red hair and a nasty attitude that needs to hit theroad ???? bye bye. Read more
Our 1st time here the other day, end of August 2022. We're just traveling thru and chose it based on reviews. Excellent BLT, my... husband got two huge pork chips and devoured it all!L, and we got so so cheese curds.. They appeared baked? Or something likethat? We like breaded /deep fried,so I should have asked before! Super friendly wait staff! Lots of people came after us for thenormal dinner crowd, but pretty busy for a Tues night! Recently we stopped at The Windjammer for the first time. The updates were beautiful and the service was very complimentary, as... far s friendliness. Unfortunately, my prime rib was terribly overcooked. I didn't know that medium meant more than well done. Ididn't want to bother the waitress as she was running around, trying to maintain several tables at once while bartending on aSaturday night -- hence slower service but still with a smile. Overall, prime rib was overcooked and flavorless, mashed potatoeswere amazing, but gravy had a film from sitting under the heat lamp, service was slow due to lack of staff (to be expected, butnot excused). On the bright side the appetizer and salad were amazing and my partner's Carne Steak Quesadilla was very flavorfuland good :) I hope that this comes across as constructive criticize, rather than something taken negatively.
