It was fine. Didn't feel terribly authentic. Noodles were overcooked. The egg was overcooked, yolk going green. Pork loin felt... like its a deli slice of meat not terribly interesting. Soup was fine, well seasoned but flavouring more Chinese than Japanese.Karaage was massive. Both in portion and size of the pieces. A piece here would not be out of place in a KFC bucket in terms ofsize. Not terribly chopstick friendly. Front door is a bit slammy. Needs a door dampener, whole front window & seat shakeanytime someone comes through.. Loud and annoying. Read more
I had the vegan ramen and it was extremely delicious. My boyfriend had the spicy tonkotsu ramen and said it was the best ramen... outside of Japan that he has ever eaten. My tip for the vegan ramen: order additional tofu and seaweed as toppings. The waitresswas super nice and immediately addressed my questions regarding vegan options. Stopped by for lunch during a bike ride along the beach in Venice. Ordered the vegetable ramen. Broth was really delicious (not... too salty) and the portion was very filling. Very friendly staff. I?d never had the style of ramen noodle served here before.Very thin and cooked to just the right texture. Will definitely come back. Read more
Delicious food: Japanese fried chicken was on point ???????? my partner ordered chaku broth (plain) and he said it was amazing.... I ordered the chicken dumpling soup, the flavor was perfect. Not too much of anything. The dumpling had a lot of flavor and agood texture. The service was just what we needed: attentive enough that our water was never empty but leaving us to enjoy ourfood and talk. Highly recommend if you?re in the area. Read more
