I ordered steak and eggs with hot sauce during brunch and asked for specifically a "not sweet single cherry and orange peel" old... fashioned. I was surprised by the meal and a cup of their homemade hot sauce with the perfectly matched drink. Legitimately thebest hot sauce I have ever had, not sweet or over smoked, but hints of apple, cinnamon, and full of peppers. We hosted our wedding here on 10/9/22 and it was an absolute dream! Joey (the owner) is amazing and so passionate about... hospitality. Lauren (the event coordinator) is so accommodating and will answer all your questions, even if you ask the same one10 times! The venue space has so many possibilities and is intimate and filled with character. The food was AMAZING and all myguests raved about it! The beds were super comfy and the rooms were clean. I can not recommend this place enough, whether youjust go to dine, stay the night at the inn or have an event there. Its amazing!! We will be back for years to come to celebrateour anniversary! We rented the Carriage House for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. Everything was perfect! The room was beautiful, and... the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely incredible and there was a ton of food available. Theset up was perfect and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We can't say enough great things about this place! Our family took my mother for lunch here for her birthday. The setting is great, its tucked away in Marietta, but is worth... finding. Food was good and the service was fantastic. We sat indoors next to a (not operating) cooking hearth. There is outdoorseating as well. Read more
My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here with 26 people. It was outstanding from top to bottom! We reserved the... cellar downstairs for our big group and the atmosphere is very nice down there. It was perfect! Our server Alexis was fantasticand had even helped us prior to the dinner with booking the downstairs and explaining everything. The food was amazing asalways. Cooked perfectly and served hot, which is tough when pumping out 26 plates at once! Everyone raved about theirdinners! Amazing place for a wedding venue. We had a small reception in the summer cottage. We got beautiful pictures in front of the old... brick and in the back yard. Their gardens were beautifully decorated with flowers and pumpkins for October. Lauren was veryhelpful with planning and fixed my wedding cake when it wasn't decorated how I envisioned. The food and atmosphere was awseome -exactly what I wanted. Everyone raved about the food and drinks. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to make this ananniversary stop. Read more
Fabulous brunch after our 28 mile bike ride on the river trail this morning. The Railroad House Inn / Perry Street Cellar food... was incredible, great patio setting, and our server was terrific. Kim had the breakfast risotto and bloody Mary. I had thespecial of the day paired with the That One Coffee Drink. Had a difficult time choosing as there were many appealing options onthe menu. I needed a venue for my daughter's out of town bridal shower that is accessible to wheelchair users.Since I am not from that... area, I was very nervous about booking a place sight unseen. We held the shower at the Carriage House of The Railroad House Innand were completely wowed by the place. The staff was incredible & made the planning very easy (Thank you Lauren!). The room wasjust perfect, really bright & pretty. We received so many compliments on the food. (We opted for the assorted sandwiches plussome extras.) It was all fresh & delicious.
