Terrible customer service. Their credit card machine was down, 4 employees were standing at the front, they waited for us to... look at the menu (never been here before, so it took a while), waited for us to order, then to let us know they were takingZelle or cash. I just had surgery and planet smoothie was closed. Husband suggested Brusters, then I remembered Corn House behind it. ... Fabulous banana smoothie. Simple and not syrupy sweet. Real banana and milk. I live down the street and remember when theyopened. Glad to still see the business still going. Thought I'd look at the reviews and share my banana experience. Reviewsare all over the place. So I made a point of writing this when I got home. I can only speak for this one visit - but fact ofthe matter is - I see that they just closed. So I come in near closing time, had a batch of questions about what was in thedessert case - corn pudding and flan among other sweets. She was very sweet. Took the order. And it was closing time - whichI did not realize. So thank you - Corn House - for fulfilling a sweet tooth tonight that the big name shops could not. Read more
The new owner has level up the quality in this place! I?m shocked! The service is awesome and the sandwich is amazing! The food... is all fresh and the owner prepares it; lunch there is a good and affordable option. Ademar is the new owner and has beenamazing! OMG, I found this place by chance, and it's awesome! The girl on the register was super nice and she gave me completely... comprehensive answers to all my questions. And I have ordered some pastries to go. They have baked steak pastry especially forme, and it was hot and I took it to my car... This is Brazilian place, and I am from Eastern Europe, but it was a real tastefrom my childhood!!! I didn't know how, but it was a real celebration! I wish I could come to their buffet, but 6-10 issoooooooo early for me))) But I still going to come back sometimes for lunch or dinner... and pastries! BTW, it's another one onpicture. First time. We have been wanting to try this place out for a while now. We were not disappointed. The Steak Burger was great!... The chicken Coxinha was amazing! We also got a Brazilian steak platter that was very good. I highly recommend the sandwiches andpastries! Read more
