Delicious food. We had the brisket, sausage and ribs. All the meats were moist and tasted great without the sauce. Their BBQ... sauce selection was unique. While they have your traditional sauces, you have the option of exploring their BBQ sauce bar thatoffers a variety of unusual tastes which is worth trying if you like exploring different options. First time there. The food was VERY good. The Mac n Cheese is excellent. We were greeted by a gentleman named Fry, who did a... quick walk-through of the menu. He's a super nice guy. The outside of the building isn't impressive, but the inside is niceand the employees are very attentive. We plan to make the drive from Douglasville to Marietta to have more Lockdown BBQ soon.. Really Smoky ribs and a selection of great sauces! "SSS" is a top 10 all-time sauce. After several visits, their rating stays... the same. Five stars. Consistent fresh and yes, a great selection of sauces! Read more
The place has good bbq. Nice people that work there, good food. They have brisket but need to add burnt ends as well!
Not that impressed. Not pictured is the corn on the cob which wasn?t good and the texas toast which was alright. The brisket was... extremely fatty and thin slices, looks more like roast beef. In the picture is mac n cheese and potato salad. Neither were thatgood. Read more
excellent service. korean bbq was really good. great wings here too. Next visit. Great food great service. Would get 5 stars but... very expensive. I know everything went up but 17 bucks for 10 wings with no side or drink. Wow. We eat wings very often but noneare near this price. 9 bucks for a sandwich only. They are a decent size though. The hallmark of a good barbecue place is their brisket. And Lockdown hit this out of the park. First time here and I ordered to... go and the service was quick & friendly. Had the brisket plate with Brunswick stew and fried okra. Probably the best brisketI've had in years... tender and smoky... ate every bite. Their sauce was very good. Brunswick stew was delicious as well.Definitely going to put Smitty's in my rotation. Read more
3 strikes, and you're out... I can't believe this place is still in business. Tried it 3 times over that past 2-3 years and it's... been horrific every time. CRAZY over priced. The nerve of a this place charging $23 a lb for grocery store quality Choice beef.staff has consistently gotten worse. The tall African man, manager I assume, who took care of me the last time is the exception.And the food has stayed terrible. The brisket tastes like it has no care put into it. Like it was slapped in an electric smokerand cooked until dry. I've had the chicken before and it was also dry and flavorless. They supposedly make all their sauces inhouse, and if you've ever seen them make it, it's nauseating. disgusting unclean work area, nasty stained and re-used plasticjugs... I can't believe they try to sell this SWILL by the bottle. If the FDA ever got wind of this, I'm sure they'd beshutdown. Save yourself from this place and steer clear! Read more
