First time back post Covid, not sure what happened to the food quality. It was one of the best food places around, now it's... somewhat mediocre. The food was good and the selection was good. For the amount of food and taste, the $16 each is not bad. Drinks not included in... that price. Though didn't have oysters though, disappointing. They didn't have fried plantains either. They used to have boththese items. Also, I don't know why but they put the most popular items all on one end of the bar instead of spreading it outacross this huge buffet bar they have. This caused a long line because of the concentration of people in one area. It was verybusy and the A/C was not turned down enough. When the customer population increases, the A/C needs to be set lower. People donot like to sweat when they eat. Overall, as far as price and food quality go it was good. Read more
I've recently discovered this buffet restaurant. I've gone maybe 5 times and most say I like it a lot. Their staff is very... friendly. I wish they had more flexibility with food selection. Maybe add more plates. Sushi selection is great! Please add somedesserts and you will have many more happy returning customers. I would still give it 5 stars! Read more
Not up to our expectations but the sushi bar was excellent. The food items were not that tasty or may be it was fathers day a... wrong day to visit. The disappointment was in so many food items which were not cooked the way it should. This has been ourfavorite family buffet to visit. May be in ordinary days the food items might be well served. We love this place! The food is great except they use a lot of Bell peppers and my husband is allergic to them. But other than... that it's Fantastic!!! Plus it's a beautiful place with nice restrooms and a coy pond with waterfalls inside the main entrance! Read more
The most different flavors of Jello I've seen at any Asian buffet. Plus cherry compote bananas! There is a HUGE kids or not... Asian section. The wasabi was great! Read more
Even with some not-so-positive reviews, we decided to give a chance to get to know the restaurant. I really liked the food and... the service. It pays much more to go for the lunch buffet for the price. It has a lot of variety, seafood, sushi and desserts.The ice cream is very tasty and I recommend it. It's not the tastiest food but it's worth the cost benefit of the price for theamount of food. Read more
If I could give less stars that would be more accurate. Took my family to eat here first time, first off the restaurant has a... smell that isn?t welcoming almost as if they are serving bad seafood smell. So I grabbed two plates one for me and my fouryear(for obvious reasons I served her) upon eating before she took bite I noticed shrimp looked off, I grabbed it and it stillhad the poop vein inside the shrimp meat, I grabbed few more and same thing, my wife at different time grabbed other shrimpeither boiled steamed and fried but not knowing I had found bad shrimp. Those shrimp weren?t cleaned either. She also got clamsn there was sand inside meaning they had served improperly prepped seafood, upon getting in contact with lady manager she wasvery belligerent in English as well as native tongue( we all know what cussing looks like no matter language) she admitted noone complained about food preparation ever in 13 years being in business. Also walked them over to the grill section and theworker had no gloves on to handle raw uncooked or cooked meat. She yelled at him in Spanish and he acted like he was oblivious,meaning rest of kitchen staff isn?t trained in clean food preparation. Also the manager admitted too buying and cooked deadclams, but said bad ones could be picked out after being cooked with live fresh clams. Same with shrimp she wanted us to pullour vein and then continue to eat it like it wasn?t any problem. Clearly not knowing cooking bad or dead meat can contaminaterest of the good meat. Sushi wasn?t times stamped as to its freshness and didn?t look fresh at all, tried contacting healthinspectors but since it?s holiday they are closed.
