Great food and nice ambiance too to try for a private dinner
Love the atmosphere right as you walk in! Pasta and any sauce is spot on with authentic ???? Absolutely delicious and beautiful!... Created my own with Ravioli spinach and cheese with the mushroom sauce. My husband got a chicken and pasta dish off the entreemenu that was great! Chicken was juicy and full of flavor. At dinner here on a quiet Saturday night and enjoyed the calm of the restaurant. I?m not sure if that?s normal but it was... welcomed! We ordered the capellini bolognese and fusilli san remo. The pasta was cooked very well and the pasta sauce wasamazing! The only (slight) drawbacks were the meatballs and Italian sausage. The meatballs were soft and had an overground liketexture to them, and the Italian sausage was a bit gamey. We also ordered the orange Italian soda which was great ? SanPellegrino. I placed an online order, and it was very disappointing to say the least. I ordered spinach based Fettuccine with salmon, green... peas, and extra sauce which they got correct except for the extra sauce (which is a $3.50 upcharge) and paid $6 for a sliver ofunderseasoned salmon (pictured) and undercooked peas. The pasta, however, was delicious and perfectly al dente. I also orderedthe Fritti Spinach and Artichoke Dip antipasti, which is described as four cheese ravioli lightly deep fried and toastedcrostini served with artichokes, spinach creamy dip, and spicy tomato sauce, only to receive two 1-cup containers of saltytomato sauce and the spinach creamy dip with no toasted ravioli or crostini that was supposedly part of the appetizer and 2 oldyeast rolls (also pictured). I'm honestly quite appalled by this experience because the dine-in experience I had was great, yetthis one fell so short. I'm still working on getting that partial refund through Doordash for not receiving the appetizer. I donot suggest ordering online, but I suppose the dine-in experience is worth another shot. We wrote $0 in the tip line and notated on the receipt that we were tipping in cash. Our card has been chargedthe full amount of the meal PLUS the tip that we left, even though we never wrote down how much we were tipping on the receipt.Keep your receipts after leaving here and check the final balance.
