Incredibly disappointed with my visit here today. Dirty. Empty dishes everywhere on the tables. The girl who took the order... was friendly enough but I waited 10 mins to pay, even though there was nobody else there. Just no staff member turned up to takethe money. Eventually got a cappuccino which was poor at best. And ordered the expensive avocado toast which took 30 mins toarrive, was thrown on the table by a grumpy guy and when I asked about a knife and fork he said I had to go and get my own fromthe back. Worst of all the avocado toast was not just cold - it was freezing. Must have been waiting to be sent out from thekitchen for 10-15 mins. I will never come here again. Read more

I hate that being "understaffed" has become the new generic fake excuse for anything that goes wrong at a restaurant. Your... restaurant was mostly empty when we came there yesterday and I saw plenty of staff just standing around and doing nothing. Someof the staff even went home or on break during the time I was waiting forever for my party's coffee and food. You can't claimyour short staffed when your staff is still there and available. If you are changing shifts and waiting on staff to get therefor the night then you have the morning staff wait until their relief comes into work that's simple management 101 strategy.Courtney the manager needs to take responsibility and accountability for her poor management decisions instead of just lying tomy face as her staff literally sits down to eat at a table near us. And to be honest it looked like he too was waiting aroundfor the rest of his meal because he was standing around with a sandwich following them for 5 or 10 minutes before he finally satdown. The service was poor to say the least and the food was cold and bland, in addition to being intermittently served. AndTHIS is what you're getting after they raised the prices by $2-3 dollars on everything on the menu?! No, thank you! At leastPanera has a microwave in the lobby in case the food gets cold and their food doesn't taste like it came from Kroger's bakeryand deli. Read more

I was very disappointed with lunch today. My crepes were very under cooked that they were almost rubbery. I got a avocado toast... for almost $6 and it just had small pieces of avocado on one slice of toast. I also ordered a sandwich and a side Caesar saladand most of the salad contained wilted pieces. It was good but the portion have gotten very small and there was no bread like before, so we were disappointed. We used to eat... there weekly but I think for the price it has lost its appeal. Makes me sad. And no one checked on us, once we went thru theorder process it took a long time for our food, I ate since my husband told me to go ahead so it would not get cold and I wasfinished by the time his meal came. I know times are tough but eating here used to be a pleasure. Read more

There was a slight error in my order, I called them & they were very apologetic. I went back in the following day & the mgr.... (Courtney) was amazing! She went above & beyond in her exceptional customer service. I have over 20yrs in restaurant mgt. & sheis a definite asset to La Madeline. I?ll return to this location very soon! Read more

The food was okay, not spectacular in any way or fashion. For that reason alone I am upping from a 1 to 2 star. Other than that... the service (around 5) is absolutely horrific in the front. Maybe worst than horrific. It was miserable every step of theway. Zero greet. Zero help. Zero everything. Guy and a girl talking ignoring everything and everyone. I left 5 dollars for thecook pretty much and I usually tip more at places. So we go in to order something to go. We?re waiting to place our order for about a minute and a half with no acknowledgment. So... we walk over to the serving line and asked for assistance. The man behind the line says, ?Not yet, I have other things to dofirst.? There was not one single customer in the store. It was about 2 hours before closing time. Needless to say, we walked outand pretty sure we will not be going back. Se la vie. Read more

I can always count on a good fruit tart. I went by at 8:30am, no tarts but I was promised some by 11am. It was ready upon... arrival. Yummy every time. Read more
