I have eaten here a lot in the past with family and really enjoyed the food and family atmosphere. My visit today however was... different. The food was still good but the attitude of a few employees was a disappointment. First an older lady who was rude tome, my wife and a few others. Too short and seemingly sarcastic. Then there was one gentleman who always gives me a box to putmy last slice of pizza in. He decided today however to tell me that he really shouldn't do it for dine in only purposes. Thiswas not consistent with how he treated me many times before as he happily served me as a customer. In fact, his past greatcustomer service was the main reason why I kept returning to JJs. On top of that they raised their prices. Maybe that's why heargued about giving me a box. One would think that higher prices would equal better service. But that was not the case. This is our second time here. First time was for pizza and it was great. This time we had dinner and it was great. Had the... eggplant Parmigiano with a side of spaghetti ( vermicelli) which is my preferred. All three of us were very pleased with ourmeals. Oh yes the garlic rolls were very tasty. Very happy I tried this "mom and pop" Pizzeria. Had a wonderful large eggplant pizza. I know, eggplant... But we used to love... what we got in the northeast/ Connecticut and it is difficult to find good NY Style Pizza in the south. The sauce was good andnot skimped on, breaded/fried eggplant and cheese. NY Style crust. I will DEFINITELY be going back and trying other pizzas. Imay eat in as well as it was a nice/cozy little place. Highly recommend you try and support them. Read more
Very good NY Pizza. I go for the all you can eat at lunch which is a great deal. Their made to order, freshly baked pizzas... (which I get when the family is around) are outstanding. Friendly service. Read more
This is the 2nd time we?ve tried this place. We were not fans of the pizza. Just our own preference. But decided to try it... again. We ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich and a side of pasta salad. The portions were big enough for us to share.That?s about the only good thing I can say. The pasta salad was good. But the chicken on the sandwich was so burnt wecouldn?t eat it. Really disappointed because we have friends who love it here and were upset we didn?t like the pizza buttalked us into trying again. Outstanding NY style pizza without leaving Marietta. Nice crunch, quality toppings, and still a little fluff to the dough.... Friendly staff. 7.5 on the One Bite app is accurate. Worth checking out. Read more
