Great BBQ joint! The plate I had was great. One of the few places I've found proper Carolina-style pork. And those cheese... biscuits are ridiculous! Some of the reviews and pictures had me concerned about things here, but it seems like they may beoutdated. I'll be coming back, for sure! Read more

Horrible self-serve dining location. Great food as I?ve had at the other locations I?ve been to, no complaint on the bbq. I?m... just not sure how this location has stayed in business since changing its concept (Covid related?). This place dead every timeI?ve come here and feels like an empty cafeteria. Like the other locations I?ve been to, this Jim & Nicks USED to be a sit downrestaurant with table service & a great atmosphere. It?s a bummer to see they haven?t changed back. I could see this locationclosing due to the ?new business model? oh well. Read more

My wife and I have dined in as well as take out orders many times over, and we have always been pleased with the quality of the... food, accuracy of our order and certainly the friendly staff. This restaurant continues to be one of our weekly favorites andhope others will try it, too. But remember, all businesses are dealing with staffing storage, food supply disruptions so bepatient when dining here, and realize every restaurant may have ?an off night.? Read more

This restaurant was a huge disappointment. The prices were not bad at all. However, the food lacked sooo much flavor. The baked... beans tasted like pure onions needs brown sugar or something to balance onion flavor. For the love of God please take membraneoff ribs before cooking. Ribs weren?t horrible but were so tough and dry. I am no grill master but this is like grill basics101? The brisket was very bland and had no char on it. Mac and cheese needed more cheese. Overall would not recommend. It wouldalso be nice to have more than two sauces. Read more

Surprisingly delicious. The corn on the cob, crisp not soggy, well seasoned. The catfish, melt in your mouth savory. The Mac n... cheese, um well...next time I'll try the potato salad ????. Chalk it up to not traveling well. All in all, a very good meal. Thanks guys!! Read more

I usually enjoy the bbq sandwich from this place, but today this huge chunk of bone nearly chipped a tooth! I am grateful that... I did not choke on this thing! We also found an uncooked french fry in the salad. Overall, very disappointing. Hope they stepit up a little. Read more

This was my first time at this location. The food was okay; I?ve had better at the Smyrna location. The dining experience left... much to be desired but it wasn?t an issue. However, the customer service is horrible at this establishment. When a problem ispresented, the expectation is for management to address, and correct, the problem. The manager never once said I will take careof it or I will speak to the employees. Instead, he made excuses and tried to appease us. To add insult to injury, the manageractually told the customer, my daughter, ?If you write a bad review, it?ll just come back to me.? In other words, your opinionis worthless but perhaps a gift card or free dessert will pacify you. I paid over $40 expecting a decent lunch and greatservice. Do not offer me a free dessert, gift card, etc. to compensate for your employees? poor behavior. Fix the problem! Iwill never patronize this location again. Read more

Jim 'N Nicks has been a staple for my family since our days living in S Cobb. We have enjoyed both the S Cobb and Paulding Co... location for many years. We loved it when we found out a place was opening up right down the street. We have eaten here severaltimes and I decided I shld drop a review. BBQ is good, but over priced for the portions. Also...this location doesn't have thesame vibe and friendly atmosphere as the other 2 spots. Going to chalk that up to the pandemic. I definately see room for growththough. Read more
