I've had my fair share of Jamaican food & have my favorites spots ITP but Jameric is a little closer to home so I had high hopes... this could be "the" spot. I've tried it a couple of times now but after this 3rd try, my conclusion is that it's just average.Not terrible but not great. My main contention is that there are just too many bones in the chicken making it difficult to justget a good solid bite of meat instead you're left to pick through it all and the chicken, the rice & peas, & the plantains areall a touch dry. I want so badly to support a small, family-owned business so I'm disappointed I couldn't give this a 5-starreview. Read more
One of the finest Jamaican restaurants I've ever gone to is Jameric International Cuisine. The service is excellent across the... entire facility, and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent; they offer fantastic beefpatties and perfectly seasoned oxtail. The macaroni is delicious and is one of my all time favorites . This restaurant is my saving Grace! The staff treats you like family, they are so welcoming and the music is always a pleasure!... I enjoy making good wholesome conversations with everyone in the restaurant. Our family is definitely are regular customers! Myfavorite on the menu is the jerk baked potatoes and the jerk and pork fried rice! The jerk chicken is amazing also but I?velearned so much just watching them reinventing their menu! You never know what?s new or next on the menu! I?m excited to tasteand enjoy! I?ve ordered food off their catering menu and dinner for my family.
