I wanted to cry happy tears! This was my first time trying this place and this will show my age but there was a place in Atlanta... called Hunans. It was the best Chinese I had ever had and I loved it from the time I was a little kid in the late 80s into the90s and I have NEVER had it's equal. Until today. Goodness if I could give this gem 12 stars I would. I got it delivered to mywork and it was still so fresh, DELICIOUS and my only regret is not getting two egg drop soups. TL;DR: Owners take tables and tips away from their wait staff. Outrageous So after dining in and talking with one of the... servers, apparently the owners seat tables and take those tips away from their servers. And they automatically take a cut of thetips from the online orders. Let me say this again. They?re. Taking. Tips. Away. From. Workers. Who. Make. $2.13. An. Hour. Wonderful inviting place. We sat at the bar and were quickly greeted. Ordered our drinks. Ate dinner and had a good... time. Alright! Forgo your show and get here asap! Sit down order their old fashioned, ask for the Hawaiian Beef Skewers, andprepare yourself for an amazing evening! Once you merked those skewers time to move on to one of their many many dishes. I love the coconut shrimp here. It?s gluten free which is why we continue to come back when we are near the square. The calamari... app is also gf and even though it says it is spicy, it is just salt and pepper seasoning. Love House of Lu and been coming herefor 10+ years! During that time the coconut shrimp has remained one of the most delicious dishes and I get it every time andnever gotten sick. Read more
