Cook Out is a decent restaurant. You get decent food for a great price. The staff was helpful here and they were patient with my... group (we hadn?t eaten here before and the menu is fairly large). The staff at the register helped us navigate the menu. I gota burger, hush puppies, a bacon lettuce wrap, and a butterfinger shake. It tasted fine. The shake had a milky-icy quality to itthat I didn?t love. I wouldn?t write home about any of it, and I probably wouldn?t get any of it again unless I was trying tosave money. I don?t know if all Cook Out locations have this, but this location has a sink in the lobby area next to theregister. I?m not sure if it is for public use, but I used the sink to wash my hands. The floor of the restaurant was verysticky feeling, and before we could sit down I had to grab some cleaning supplies from another table and wipe ours down beforewe could eat. The reason for the 3-star review is because the food was just fine, and the cleanliness of the restaurant wassubpar. The redeeming quality of this restaurant is their staff was very kind and helpful, and the cost of food is affordablefor pretty much everyone. Would I eat here again? The drive thru took forever to get my order . My cheeseburger was half the size of the bun and it was burnt .
One of the people working here quit in the background of taking an order. I ordered 3 shakes and double fries with some burgers... but they missed one shake and fries in the drive through and said I didn't order the other items. The food wasn't good, evenconsidering this is fast food. The buns were dry and hard on one side and greasy and soft on the other. And the one order offries ended up being too salty to be able to eat. There really should be an option for zero stars. The customer service has got to be the nastiest I have ever seen at this... location. Literally there is a guy working the window in a dirty hoodie (No uniform AT ALL) and a hat to the back and has anattitude because he got the order wrong. I don't have an accent, I speak only English and he got the order wrong and huffed andpuffed when I asked him for the correct thing. Fact is, he did not have what my son wanted and substituted it on his own. Then,he asked for the wrong shake back as if I wanted it in the first place. And I think... I've never worked in food service before,but I think they are not supposed to take food back into the window. Something about sanitation. Drove an half an hour to get the food and half an hour back only to start eating a sad excuse for a quesadilla; virtually no... chicken, very little cheese and no sauce. Thinnest quesadilla I?ve ever eaten in my 30 years of existence. Read more
The food was good but I didn?t eat my hush puppies. Might want to talk to your workers about putting food in to go containers to... hot. The hush puppies had melted styrofoam bits all on them and melted holes into the container. Read more
The food is good but the kid at the register has awful customer service skills! I'm at the location near the Pep Boys on on... steel road. I was not impressed with the young man at the counter whatsoever. I was polite and cordial to him and he just hadthis look on his face that told me he wanted me to go eat s***, or he wish I'd go the h*** away! He didn't listen when I gave myorder so part of it was wrong, and then I say thank you and have a nice day he all but rolled his eyes and turned to talk to acoworker. Don't know what his issue was and I don't care what his issue was, I was polite he could have at least been politeback instead of completely dismissive and rude. Read more
