I've been coming to this location for many years and will say most the time everything is good. My visit today was less than ok.... Why is the dining room still closed? There's no pandemic of covid anymore? The drive thru was very long waiting time, theemployees are not courteous and attentive on the orders. Our meal today was all wrong and not very good, but after getting homewith the food, I didn't want to drive back and wait forever so we ate what was given to us. I don't like giving bad reviews, butthis isn't the first time this has happened to me. This location really needs help in every area. The sign says close at 8pm dueto staffing! Read more
I guess their COVID-19 restrictions are still in place, and/or they are understaffed because there was a long line at the drive... thru. The menu board outside could use some updating, and some of the workers could be trained a wee bit more onprofessionalism, but other than that and the long wait, it was an ok experience. Read more
I didn't take pictures. First time at this location and everything tasted like it had been fried together with the fish. Just a... very weird taste to the food. I'll stick to the Floyd Rd location. Read more
Captain d's is a go to place with me because I can always go there and get some grilled fish and some green vegetables sometimes... it's a short wait while they prepare your food, but it's OK the food is always good. The people I can't say they realpersonable, they do their job that's what I can say they do their job. they're not overly friendly and they're not mean but theyget the job done and that's all I need. I went after a 12 hour work day, tired, hungry and when i pulled in no line to worry about so yes this was going to be ok. Well... to my surprise the food was ice cold, i mean no heat to it at all. Needless to say i was extremely disappointed, still tired,still hungry. That food had no business coming to a customer like that, it's shameful, money lost, I'll never get that back andagain i was very disappointed. Really good. I switched up my usual order & got the catfish feast it was delicious and fresh ! The wait in the drive thru was a... bit long but worth it. I also ordered gumbo it wasn?t terrible but the rice , well There was too much of it , and it was hard ontop of the good stuff. *update 3/22/22* found a hair in my food today! What the world.
