Mixed reviews. The vibe is nice. Went there one Saturday and sat at the patio and had a great night. The bartender made me and... my bf a drink and it was delicious and nicely priced! I disliked it so much that I'm still in the restaurant while I write this review. So we walked in, weren't greeted by anyone,... then a nice tatted lady told us that we could seat ourselves. We did that. We sat close to bar in the first booth. It tookabout 5- 7 minutes for somebody to come say hello. The waitress introduced herself and asked for our order, even though wedidn't have a menu. She brought back a table tent with a QR code on it. The menu was over priced. So I decided to order the $10crab leg special and $5 Margarita that's displayed on the special board to the right of the door when you walk in. It lists theweekly food specials w/o any other info. Remember this for later! So I order the special at 10:35... the waitress comes back "like sorry that ended at 10pm" ummmm ok.... but where are the rules listed for these specials ? Nowhere, is where. So since ican't order the crab leg special, I order the regular crab leg boil , brussel sprouts and fries. Here comes the waitress 3minutes later...soooo yeah wen outta crab legs, want something else? ???? cool how's the surf & turf? It's great but the onewith the lamb chops are better. So I take her suggestion and order the lamb chops, my boyfriend orders the blackend catfish andshrimp with dirty rice. About 20 min later the food comes out and it looks amazing...however, it was far from amazing. Myboyfriend meal turned out ok, good flavor and all, but the lamb chops for my meal was not seasoned at all. They literally tookthe lamb chops and just slapped them on the grill until they were charred. It taste as if the meat was more burnt than cooked. Completely different from the catfish dish. Ambiance- they do seem to have fun here in on Tuesday night though. The staffseems to truly love each other. So my advice is to come for the fun but not the food! Read more
Much like the other reviews mentioned service is slow when you first arrive. I would say it’s a lack of proper management and... organization. You are able to seat yourself, and then flag down a server. After about 25 minutes after speaking to a manager (nohelp) we were able to get Kiki’s attention. She was a sweetheart and provided good service and apologized for the delay. Thedj was really the saving grace for this place though because the vibe provided a distraction from the initial delay of serviceand the wait for food. The food and drinks were ok. We went on a Tuesday and they had ran out of some things. Overall we wouldtry this place again with the expectation of the delay. Read more
Finally made my way to this very chic spot. The service was great thanks Nikki for your friendly service. How comforting. The... food hit the spot. I was craving something savory and sweet the chicken and waffles delivered. The chicken was nice and crunchy,like I like it. The waffle was ok. I'm sure if I would've made it to pick up my order in time it would've been better. I will bereturning to try some other menu items. Until then.... Follow ?????? 10 people in the building. 12 including myself and dad. Took 17 minutes to offer water. No happy hour at 5p. Was told they do... not do happy hour. Couldn't order food due to cook not being there. Waitress cans to take and said "what y'all want". I've comehere before and was disappointed with this experience. Left and met some folks that were there at the other place I went to. Read more
I've been following BB for a while now and decided to go there with some friends who were in town. When we walked in the vibe... was cool with the music they were playing. After being seated, we decided to order some food. We were then given plasticutensils and no drink menu. I ordered the surf and turf with an order of coconut shrimp (which were burnt), and the seafood macand cheese. The food was ok and the portions are way small!!! They are nothing like whats seen on the IG page. It was literallyone scoop (if that) of the seafood mac in a small bowl, the surf and turf was also small as well. After I got my bill it was $90including a SERVICE charge for dining in, not to get it confused with gratuity. I wont be going back. The concept is interesting. A barbershop with a bistro is a cool concept. I went on a Wednesday night, Caribbean night. There... was a DJ and I enjoyed the music. As far as the food - I ordered lemon pepper wings. The waitress brought out Buffalo saucedwings. When I told her that's not what I ordered, she acted like it was for another table. When she brought my food back. Icould tell that they washed off the buffalo sauce and sprinkled some stuff over it. The plate had liquid on it and the hint ofred was still there on the wings and of course it TASTED NOTHING LIKE LEMON PEPPER. That was a huge turn off for me. The placeitself is run down. The seats have burnt holes. And overall the place need some TLC. I probably won't go back. Read more
