tldr: Anyone can sell overcooked BBQ with bad customer service. Only Dickey's of Maricopa can do it and charge twice the price.... Pass hard on this place, ya'll. The full story: I've been a huge fan of this place for years and was super excited they openedthis location as it's much closer to where I live. Since right after the first of 2022, I have consistently been eitherunderwhelmed or completely frustrated by ever-changing (and rude) staff and the owner seems to have checked out and spends histime chatting with people he deems worthy of his time while ignoring his most loyal customers. This last visit was the laststraw... Usually, I would get the "pork out platter" and in times past, they would substitute out their burnt ends for brisketor something else. No more. In times past, they would actually have wings ready and apologize profusely when they were out ofanything. No more. In times past, they would have tender, juicy meat. EVERYthing I've had the past several times was super driedout and needed lots of extra sauce to choke down. When I'd ask for help with something they'd completely forget as part of myorder, the staff are curt and unapologetic. Last time I'd asked for 'flats-only' for wings, the woman behind the counteractually got upset I'd ask for such a thing and when I said "oh, sorry, they used to do that for me" she all but told me I was afilthy liar. I used to come in once or twice a week, often enough I was called "the wing guy" by the old staff (back when thisplace was run well and they knew what customer service was supposed to be like). This isn't a one and done experience. I was aloyal customer and gave them repeated chances to return to their past, better selves to no avail... Here's a helpful note forthe owner (whom I used to talk to all the time): you should take great care of every customer, every time but you shouldespecially take amazing care of your loyal customers. When we arrived the workers were outside talking. When we walked by one of them flicked a cigarette in my direction and barely... missed. Once inside we were rushed to order even though we were not ready. After ordering we didn?t get part of our order. Theysaid they were out of the item but didn?t tell us that before ordering. They didn?t offer to refund that item or replace it. Ontop of all of that the brisket was very very dry. We will never eat here again. Wish I could give less stars, one is too many. Read more

Ordered a half pound of brisket and a half pound of pulled pork. It came out covered in bbq sauce. I have ate at many dickies... and it has never came with sauce. One of the worst experience I?ve had at any restaurant in town. No one was able to help, I ordered online directly through their... website and when I got there to pick up my food they had no order placed for me( I had a confirmation number and had alreadypaid, even included a tip). I was given the manager?s to call but was informed he was out of town and might not answer me. WhenI tried to call the number was to a driving school.
