Came into town and got a to go order. Cons: Mac and cheese was terrible; cold, old and not tasty at all. Ribs had almost no... meat. Also It was also more like a quarter slab, not half. Decent flavor though. The baked potato was given to us with nobutter, sour cream, or anything. Brisket portion was kinda small. Pros: Although the portion was small, the brisket wasabsolutely phenomenal. Some of the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection. Cookies were pretty darn good. Crazy that I never written a review for Sonny. I been eating there for a while now. The food here is so good that when you smell... someone grilling you will think about Sonny's. The service has always been amazing. The staff are you ready for you once youwalk in. They will greet you with a smile and be very professional. They will give you time to look over the menu beforeordering. Then come by multiple times after you get your order to check on you and ask if you need anything politely. Theatmosphere is comfortable. We miss the Redneck Eggs Rolls! Now that is out of the way... Peyton... She by far created probably the best dining experience... we've had in a long time! Her attentiveness, warmth and friendliness was amazing! She made some very good recommendations on themenu since this was our second time at any Sonny's BBQ. We’ve visited several times, and the food is always delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. On the rare occasions that... something doesn’t quite meet their usually stellar standards, they’ve always gone above and beyond to make things right.This has been and will continue to be one of our go-to’s in Marianna. The manager named Mike really shows compassion for the customers who come in, and makes them feel welcomed. The whole staff was... very friendly and even assisted me and my husband when we got locked out of our vehicle in the Sonny’s parking lot. This isthe most wholesome and hospitable restraunt I’ve been to in a very long time! Great to know there is still service like thisin this day and age. Thanks Mike and sonny staff! Read more
I went to this location on 8-1. And was disappointed. I ordered the pork 3 ways asked for pulled pork for 2 of the items on the... plate and gotten chicken for them both. And I don't eat bone in chicken. Waste of money for me. And to far to go back UPDATE:They have contacted me and made it right. The lady was vary nice about it. I have no hesitation going back. It's surprised me that a menu for one person only have 5 small slices of beef could cost $15 +(Beef brisket). Not enough... protein. It's a total scam for customers. Price-value sucks on Sonny's...very bad experience in Marianna Florida...think twicebefore going to this place. Rather go to Longhorn, Outback, Texas roudhouse, or similar. Read more
The service was great, the wait not so much. By which I mean, the wait to be seated and then the amount of time it took to... receive our food after our order had been placed. Altogether though, I would recommend if you like barbecue. Read more
