We got married at Hanah Mountain Resort in October and can?t recommend it enough. It was a great location, beautiful venue with... excellent mountain views. The manager, Violet was amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. The transition from ourservice to the cocktail hour to the reception was easy and each room was perfect. The food, prepared by chef John and staff wasphenomenal. The bartenders, Bea and Cassandra did an excellent job and all with a smile. Hanah mountain is one of the most beautiful places in the Catskills area. With a breathtaking view. Amazing front desk staff and... great kitchen staff as well. This place is amazing for dinner out, weddings and special events. They truly make you feel likepart of a family here. Read more

Stayed in the Hanah House. The whole place smells of mold. In the basement there is a dehumidifier, but the tank was full and... probably had been for some time. The air conditioner is the real travesty. Packed with mold, and the air filter was cloggedwith months, if not years of dirt... This doesn't happen in a month or two. This is straight up neglect. And this downstairsspace is supposed to be for kids? I wouldn't let my kids stay down here. Come stay at the Hanah House, and share lastingmemories of that trip where the whole family got respiratory infections! The water also smelled of sewage. This may not be100% their fault, but when the water is that putrid, you just stick a filter on it and maybe a UV light and it can at least takethe edge off. I only took one shower there, and brushed my teeth with bottled water because I didn't trust it. Even justwashing my hands, the smell was unavoidable. Or who knows, maybe there is a filtration system, but it too hasn't beenchanged/cleaned in years. I wont stay there again, and could/would not recommend it to anyone. ESPECIALLY if they have kids. Golf was great greens were fast and rolled true. It?s a very fun golf course to play and the highlight of the place. Violet our... waitress for dinner was phenomenal and really should be running the place. She was organized and helpful and recommended greatfood items for us. The sticky ribs and wings were 10/10. Pasta alla vodka was awesome too. THE FRONT DESK IS A DISASTER ANDTOTALLY UNORGANIZED. FROM ONE FRONT DESK PERSON TO THE NEXT THEY DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON AND KEPT ASKING FOR MORE MONEY. Theyargued with us to push us out of the Hannah house which was a little dirty but gave us lots of room to hangout. Cleanlinesscould be better sheets were dirty so I would bring your own. If it wasn?t for violet and her helper adam that ran dinner serviceit would have been a mess. Violet played the middle man between us and the front desk bs and made the trip much more enjoyable. If there was an option for (0) ???s ? that?s what I would rate this tragic place! By far, one of the most (if not the worst)... AWFUL customer service experiences EVER! The torture began the moment we checked in with the incompetent and miserable frontdesk attendants that pay you no mind and roll their eyes when you ask logical questions about the property and their services,of which they have almost NONE, so don?t be fooled! The rooms are detached in a separate building that is a bit of a walkthrough a gravel, muddy path and/or a bridge with no convenience ramp for lugging your bags and heavy suitcases. And NO, thereis no offer from front desk to have your bags delivered to your room (even though there are a ton of golf carts that can easilybe used to transport multiple luggage items for customers checking in for a 4 day weekend). Upon entering our room, moths flewstraight into our faces and the smell of the room was not inviting by any stretch of my senses! It was bad! We couldn?t imaginewhen the room had any fresh air flowing through it! We went to the restaurant to honor our ?reservation? since dinner is onlyserved from 5pm - 730pm. Somehow we were locked into a ?pre-fixe? menu that we had no idea existed because we never committed toa pre-fixe menu when making the reservation. Thankfully that was corrected and we made the best of our dinner. I recommend thatyou NOT get the salmon. We returned to our room, tried to turn on the tv to unwind and unpack and of course, the tv did nothave a signal and basically didn?t work. Technician came in to fix it. He also had to come back to offer us different sheets forthe pull out sofa bed because when we pulled it out, it had an old towel stuck in there along with lint and foodparticles/crumbs within the folds of the pullout bed. We checked in after a round of golf on a hot day. No hot or cold water in the bathroom. When I asked the front desk staff she... said she doesn't know when it's gonna be fixed. Keep asking to go to the pool to get shower instead. She did not apologize forit. Was so upset because her attitude did not even say sorry once. Argued and get a refund.
