Had a large party dine at Verdi’s. The owner was very welcoming, the environment clean, service was friendly & fast. Could not... say enough about the food it was extremely delicious! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more upscale diningexperience. You will want to have a reservation as the restaurant fills up fast! Read more

One of the best restaurants on Marco Island, period. It is my to go restaurant with my family when we come annually to Marco... Island. You won’t go wrong with ordering anything from the menu since most of their dishes are exceptional. However, I willrecommend the Grilled New Zealand Rack of Lamb and also their Duck plate. The service is great, servers on point, andowner/managers evert friendly with customers and makes you feel welcome. Read more

We had great service here! The food came out quickly and we were attended to. But the food just didn’t cut it. The menu looked... so promising!! The scallop appetizer had maybe 4 very very tiny scallops. Wiki wiki shrimp ended up being popcorn shrimp withbang bang sauce. Clam chowder was ok. The shrimp scampi pasta was very bland. The surf and turf (two shrimp on a steak) was verybland, cooked well but no seasoning, asparagus was inedible. Read more

We were here on my Birthday evening a few days ago. A mixed bag .. The good: They wrote Happy Birthday on our tablecloth and... wished me a Happy Birthday. A nice touch. Server was quick to welcome us and walked through the specials. The rack of lamb wasbeautifully prepared and well flavored. The special for the night Shrimp Scampi was also a hit for a member of our party. Thebad: They had the door open when we arrived (Thursday night dinner) and left it open for most of the meal service. Flies flew inand the restaurant was not as cool due to the door being open. The shrimp and scallops was sloppily assembled and not preparedlike the expensive dish it was. Where was the care and distinctive flavors on this dish? The bigger issue was the wait staff.Our server, a seemingly nice woman who spoke Portuguese and Spanish, was thoroughly engrossed in another table that spokeSpanish. We barely saw here after they arrived. She was rushed and not clear with us on menu choices. Very disappointing. Neversaw a manager or anyone else who asked how was our meals. We used to love Verdi’s, but they now lack a lot of appeal afterthis experience. Read more

Extremely Wonderful + Nostalgic Experience. My father was an amazing independent restauranteur and I grew up dining at the best... independent restaurants in my area. I’ll never forget what it was like to see that sense of pride owners and chefs would havein their restaurant. True artistry, craftsmanship and love for one’s craft. Tonight my wife and I dined at Verdi while onvacation with our family. It was a rare night out for us and immediately upon entering (we showed up 15 min before they openbut they let us in early) we felt the graciousness and sense of wanting us to be there. We were lucky enough to have Michele asour server and she was just amazing. The level of caring and service she provided was simply wonderful. She brought out 3samples of wine for me to try and it felt like a wine flight! We ended up ordering the following: Warm Brie appetizer -amazing Prince Edward mussels- amazing Beet salad - amazing Vegetable pasta for my wife - delicious! Chilean sea bass -good Banana’s foster dessert- STAR of the meal!!! All and all, everything about this restaurant reminded me of my childhoodgrowing up in wonderful independent restaurants. From the choices of decor, to stunning glassware and unique plates, you canabsolutely see the level of thought the owners have put into their business.
