We had an amazing dinner at Oyster society. We had made a reservation for 7:30 but went around 7:00 to have a drink at the... bar. Sean was our bartender. He made the most beautiful Mai Tai that I've ever seen! We enjoyed sitting at the bar so decidedto order dinner there and not move to a table. Everything we ordered from the Oyster trio and grilled octopus to the potatocrusted grouper and scampi was cooked and presented perfectly! These people really know how to do things right! Read more
We had made reservations for my birthday, in the open tables notes I made them aware we needed a high chair and food allergies.... I also requested a specific booth. They sat us at the booth next to the one I wanted to sit in, our server was too busy tohandle another table. When we first sat I noticed my plate was had food on it so I asked someone if they could bring me a newone. He didn’t apologize, just snagged it out of my hand and never returned with a new one. Our server dropped bread and ranaway. We sat waiting, figuring out what we were having and wished we had a server to answer our questions about the menu or evenjust tell us their specials for the night. When she quickly came back she took a drink order and tried to run but I managed tolet here know we wanted a salad to start. When ishe came back with our drinks my husband asked what the special was. She pointedher finger up at him and said once second, dropped the drinks and ran away again. We had yet to even be properly greeted, shenever told us her name and I couldn’t believe she pointed her finger at my husband. I was beyond annoyed. I had to go saysomething for her to even remember to return to us. She quietly told us about specials and we told her we were ready. After shetook our orders she left and my husband said it seemed like she had an attitude. Thankfully the food was beyond amazing. But atthe end a family member asked for a birthday dessert without chocolate and it was in the notes and they brought me out achocolate moose dessert. ??????????? At that point the server literally said she couldn’t catch a break from our table. Sheended up bringing another dessert plus another table bought us a dessert. We had a great dinner here on our trip at Marco Island. Location is very close to our timeshare at Marriott Crystal Shore so... after checking the review of some places nearby, we decided to go to The Oyster Society, and we are soooo glad to make the rightexecutive-decision. The restaurant decor and setup like Italian style looks very upscale and warm, friendly welcome. We madereservation online and arrived on time, got table right away and our serve Greta was quickly came greeted us. She mentioned somespecial today's dishes so we ordered oyster, hotpot and salad for appetizer, then main course are grouper, 16oz NY steak, andsushi roll. Oysters were very fresh and flavorful, Steak was big and done perfect. Grouper was good (my husband said a bit fishyto him) Sushi roll was very good (better than Japanese restaurant we went in Orlando). Everything was so yummy and enough foodsfor our family of 4 with 13yo and 3yo kids, and we actually got full, got leftover for midnight snack and our bill includedglass of wine ($208) was same with other places we tried but never got full. I stopped in for happy hour on a Wednesday at about 5:15. I had a great crowd a great buzz and good energy. I sat at the bar... outside and had phenomenal service. I ordered the blood orange margarita the octopus and spicy tuna bites. All of them were veryvery good and I loved the blood orange margarita! Our second time here, last night was for a full dinner and many cocktails. Today, we came back for happy hour and was not... disappointed, we had six different happy hour choices, and all were spectacular. Also.
