This is an awesome place for home cooked meals and mile high pie. Busy during Blue Bonnet season but worth the wait. Visited... again recently and wanted to say that the staff does an amazing job of seating people during rush times. Everyone is kind andhelpful. Wait staff is helpful and it's amazing to watch the pie girl cut pie. Great food and is a must see when visiting theTexas Hill Country Read more

or a diner, it simply doesn't get any better! We recently moved to the area and this shows up all the time when searching for... places to eat. We've heard about it from people we have met so it was time to give it a try. The short of the review is if youare in the area or plan to make up trip to Marble Falls, you MUST come here! It's rather big and there's plenty of parking. We've been here a few times and it's either not very busy or it's almost completely full. But regardless, you'll always getgreat service. Walking in, you'll catch a glimpse of what others are eating and if you don't already know what you want, prepare to be overwhelmed. As we walked to our booth, I saw three or four dishes I wanted to order just look at what otherpeople were eating. But for our first visit, I had a club sandwich and in my opinion, it's hard to find a "great" club sandwichbut fortunately for me... I've found the best one! It might seem simple to make a club sandwich but honestly, to many placestry to make it with some different kind of bread, use weird spread, etc... but here, they make it simple and traditional. Thebest! I had it with fries and they are crunchy, hot and fresh. The next time we came, I had the Chicken Fried Steak. I sawsomeone else have this and I just had to try. It looked absolutely amazing when I saw someone else eating this and it really ISamazing! They use a white gravy (my favorite) and I honestly don't think I have had better chicken fried steak. For the sides,I had the red potatoes with gravy, fries and a mini corn on the cob. It also came with corn bread muffins. On our first visit,we had the banana cream pie and it was spectacular! So, the second time we ordered a whole pie! It you want fresh, wholesomefood... look no further! The food is delicious, the servers are super nice and you won't have to wait very long. And don'tleave without trying a slice of pie! Read more

Always stop at this place when I?m in Marble Falls. It?s a landmark and the food is delicious. I ordered the 4 ounce chicken... fried steak this time and it was cooked to perfection. But the pie! I tried the fudge pie with ice cream and it was so decadent, like a fudgy brownie. Their lemon meringue pie is one of my favorites. Huge parking lot and fast excellent service Read more

I've heard about the Bluebonnet Cafe and have heard about their famous pies, but every time we've driven by it, we were just... passing through. This weekend, we're on a mini vacation, so we finally made it. The blueberry pancakes with bacon was superb, but note these pancakes are GIANT. i got 2, but could only finish half. We did get pie --- cherry for hubs and pumpkin for me--- but we're too full to eat them. ???? They'll likely become an afternoon snack or dessert tonight. Service was stellar, andwhile we waited about 15 minutes to get a table, it went fast and it was well worth the wait. Clearly the 2 dozen people in linebehind us felt the same way! Read more

Our friends had an Omelette and liver / onions. The pecan pie / vanilla ice cream wasexcellent. Definitely will return. Don?t visit Marble Falls without stopping here! See my pics. Read more

One tasty breakfast worth the 15 minute wait outside. I especially loved chicken fried steak and eggs. The best treat was the... homemade bread/texas toast. Black coffee was perfect. We also got a slice of chocolate meringue pie. Worth the stop. Pleasedo not skip this stop. Read more

Did not get to dine in due to the Sunday lines so did a curbside pickup. As you can see I was feeding a small army so here are... some highlights. The turkey and dressing special, catfish, and chicken tenders were delicious. The pie ranking was #1 apple, #2chocolate, #3 peanut butter. Good food, friendly service, and good prices. Read more

The Blue Bonnet Cafe is certainly a Texas landmark that you absolutely have to try. The pies are enormous and delicious along... with the great tasting breakfast and lunch selections. I decided to have lunch on my last visit and settled for the pot roast. Imust say it was as great as my mom's. I've had breakfast in the past which I also highly recommend. The wait can sometimes be alittle long, but well worth your time. Highly recommended!! Read more
