We stopped here for our last lunch on our vacation with the kids. It did not disappoint. The food was outstanding and the... atmosphere was so cool. Chris was our server and he was so nice, always asking if we needed anything and was so nice inanswering all our questions. Thanks for the advice in what type of plantains to get. They were amazing!! And those ribs, theywere melting in my mouth!! I can't wait to come back to Marathon, cause I'm definitely coming back to Porky's more often!!Thanks Chris for taking care of me and the family!! The food here is excellent and the vibe is everything you want for the Keys experience. As expected, it will be at Keys... pricing. There is a lot of great artwork they've commissioned around the building and you have the option to eat at a bar righton the marina. The fish and land fare both are of good quality. Their homemade Old Bay potato chips are great, just make sureyou have a capable set of chompers, they are extra crunchy. Had a great experience here. Our server was so friendly, perky and attentive. The atmosphere is perfect. You really feel like... you are in the keys when you are here. Inside has that tropical and nautical theme. The food was excellent. We were here forbreakfast and had the eggs Benedict with crab. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Read more

What a great place for lunch. It is now my new favorite spot. This restaurant has a great good and lively atmosphere. I had an... awesome time here . . . The conch fritters tasted great. They were a good size and came with 2 sauces. I liked the red one. . .. I got Porky's Papa Burger and it was good. It had mojo pork on top and bacon. I was happy with this burger. I picked freshfries as my side. These fries tasted so good I could not stop eating them. . . . . The key lime pie was good and a good size. It tasted homemade. I enjoyed it. . . . . Well, the scenery is very nice. We had a window view so we threw our scraps to the fish, they loved it. We got the gator bites... to start with plus a adult beverage. She got the b barbecue pork sandwich plus we got a side of ribs which came out as a fullplate. I got the barbecue chicken plate with corn on the cob. The chicken was great, ribs I would leave alone. Arrived at happy hour. Enjoyed the BBQ sliders Cuban flavored that our server recommended. Also ordered the fish fingers and... a side order of fries. My husband said the fishy was cooked just perfect. A fun place to eat with open air seating. The sweettea was good but a bit weak. Had a very good server, Kris B, and he kept check on us. Interesting BBQ place in the Keys. It was the only place we could get into in mid February with no wait. Place was still... full, but we were seated immediately. I had the whole yellowtail snapper fried and highly recommend it. Family atmosphere anddefinitely come as you are here. Swimsuit and all. Didn't try the fried key lime pie but it looked great. Can't miss this one driving or biking towards Key West - the smoker wafts smells of pork bbq into the air so strong you'll turn... around and go back, like I did. The service here is good. I've been bike riding and request an entire pitcher of water eachtime, they are happy to oblige. Bbq pork spare ribs, chickens and pulled pork are all good and all smoked for an extendedperiod of time. Excellent flavor. Sides, like plantains and any bean dish are excellent.
