Reviews for Village Coffee in Maplewood, NJ
Came here on a brunch date and there were so many options on the menu. I had the smashed avocado wrap it came with salad but... there wasn't any dressing provided so I didn't have the salad. My date she had blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon. We bothhad coffee and it was good. Upon leaving we noticed that there's bowls and shakes too! I got really excited over that.Definitely have to come here again and I love the homey feel of the environment. Read more

Looking for variety? Village Coffee has an unmatched Mexican and Indian flare with new refreshing options like smoothies!... Despite coming here often with friends, we?ve faced a miserable server time and time again. We keep returning because of theambience and food, but the interactions with our server have definitely put a dent in the experience. All the chai is great, buttheir plates don?t come with a lot of meat. Read more
I?ve been coming here since I was a kid and this place has, for 20 years, been a wonderful staple in town. The coffee is... delicious and the food amazing! It?s a perfect spot to support a local established business for a coffee, a snack, or a fullmeal. It?s also a great place to have a brunch or lunch meet up or meeting. Anytime I?m in the area I try to make sure to stopin for at least a coffee. They?ve added lots of vegetarian options to their menu - and their home fries get a BIG special shoutout. The hint of Indian flavor imparted in them is just divine. Everyone in my family (and honestly anyone who grew up eatingbreakfast here knows you have to get the home fries)! Read more
Got a takeout espresso drink, and it was truly the worst coffee beverage I have ever purchased, at one of the most expensive... prices. I think it was the coffee beans themselves that were cheap and terrible, the milk was not prepared the way it wassupposed to be for the drink--plus it was $6. I will definitely not be coming back.
