Ok, so I've had food delivered and I've picked up before, but hubby and I wanted to dine in this time. Now, I've been to alot of... establishments who are short staffed, but this one took the cake frfr cuz our server was also the cook AND bartender which btw,she deserves so much recognition(YES, we tipped her well for her efforts for sure)! When we arrived, there was a table of 6 anda separate table of 8 and they obviously already ordered since I saw beer cans and sodas on the table-at this same time that'swhen I noticed "Woo"(name on receipt cuz I can't remember the name she gave me????)was literally serving ALL of us and I wasstarving, so I debated on leaving but I'm glad we didn't cuz the $39.99 special that was enough for both of us! We did add blackMussels &crawfish, plus I ordered a White Peach Margarita that was delicious but I can tell it was pre-made cuz I couldn't tastethe liquor, plus Woo confirmed this(P.S there is no real bartender, so only basic cocktails can be made????)! I decided to try this restaurant since my go to was closed and it was my birthday. I had my reserves but I?m so glad I went! I... got the special combo G with 2 eggs added with juicy sauce medium! Went with a friend for lunch. Ordered the soft shell crab which is one of my favorite appetizers. It's hard to find and seems... hard to do right, but they did a good job. The crab was soft and the breading gave the crab a light crunch. The seasoning andsauce was good. For my entree, had the seafood boil. Ordered shrimp with head, clam, and green mussels. The clams were juicy,clean, plentiful, and had white shells. Other places have had clams that are not fully clean and have sand in them, so they havea crunch when bitting down on them. The green mussels were large and juicy. When seafood is fresh, the items are large andjuicy. Loved the clams and mussels. The shrimp with head weren't as fresh as I'd like. The dish came out in a wooden bowl. Thefood surrounded by a ring of broccoli, with the seafood in the middle with corn and potatoes as sides. They also tried toaccommodate me as I'm currently on a low sodium diet. Really enjoyed my visit and I would recommend this place. Servers werewearing masks.
