Staff was great! Helpful and friendly, they worked as a team covering for each other. Shrimp tempura roll and salmon rolls good... but small. Loved the calamari, and spicy mayo dressing had a great taste, and not too spicy. Was very surprised at how fewpeople were there, the community has not embraced the restaurant. Should be a message to management! Find out what patrons wantand what they think about Sakura. Read more
The first place I ever had sushi about 30 years ago ( when they were in Galtier) and still one of my favorites. The chefs are... true pros. When you order Ama Ebi and they automatically include the heads, you know they?re the real deal. Probably been hereat least 75 times over the years, and I?ve never been disappointed. Read more

The Nameko soup is the best. Definitely order warm Sake and Sumai. But, the all time favorite is #9! It?s a must have.

We had had a birthday party for my son with 18 people Dec 23. His wife ordered the sushi boat to get us started plus everyone... ordered another meal. I was in heaven. The variety was incredible each one better than the next. It was the first time I ate asmuch sushi as I could!! The boat was emptied as the individual meals were served. This was by far the best meal I've had at anyrestaurant. It's to bad the scoring stops at 5. Read more
If you are looking for a very pleasant authentic Japanese restaurant for food and drinks in St. Paul this is the place!... Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly and attentive service. I enjoyed the food and drinks very much. The location you can?tbeat also.
