Love this little sports bar. It is located in the middle of Wabasha N. Food is good, portions are a bit small, but tasty. Great... beer selection. Friendly staff. Pretty decent music on the weekends during the afternoon, which is great! Chicken salad wrap was divine. People do come up to you on the sidewalk on the patio when you eat. One guy was selling roses,... in the restaurant. A light bulb exploded and fell from the ceiling. They do have open garage like doors to the patio, so it hasa wide open feel. Read more
We wanted a place to hangout before the concert at the Xcel Energy Center. We found the Pillbox and they had a variety of... things to offer and beer. I had the deep fried burger and it was so good. Nice place to just unwind and chill out! Will visitagain if in St. Paul Read more
Decent sports bar. Lots of big tvs. Mixed seating with some big long tables that would be great for larger groups. Service and... food were good. There's parking in the same block and it's a short walk to the Fitzgerald Theater so very convenient if headingto a show. Read more
We had some alright juicy Lucy burgers wings and surprisingly these excellent tostadas! What really made the place hit home was... our awesome server Madison and the rest of the staff! Decent place with live music, weather was beautiful and sat near the street - chatted with a couple pan handlers but no one... really bothered us - good atmosphere. Wait staff was a little laced, wasn't for a lack of employees more of a lack of energyamongst our particular server. Great service, in a location with a cool vibe. Decent happy hour deals. Ordered the totchos, Korean chicken tacos and the... steak. Steak and totchos we're good, as was the chicken in the tacos, I personally didn't like one of the ingredients in thetacos, not the restaurants fault. I would definitely recommend going back again!
