Great place for dinner or a drink. The fireplace is warm and cozy and adds to the atmosphere of this Irish pub. The bartenders... and manager as well as other staff are very friendly and helpful! There are dining areas separate from the bar if you want amore traditional restaurant atmosphere that is great for all ages. This is one of our regular hangs. Read more
New menu is amazing! They still have our favorites from the old menu but we tried two of the new dishes. Both are delicious.
Incredible gourmet food experience. I went here with a former employee and they told me about how this place always strives to... use fresh, local ingredients. For example, they used to source their blue cheese from a cave in Faribault. And now they havetheir own farm. It's "farm to table" without being in your face about it. I had the Shepard's Pie made with beef brisket smokedfor 16 hours. It was phenomenal!!! Small town bar atmosphere where everyone knows each other. That could potentially beintimidating to an outsider, but the people there seemed nice to me. Read more
Fish & Chips cod and fries were delicious but the coleslaw has been bad the last two times I've ordered. Good coleslaw is... essential for fish & chips. Also, instead of including a half cup of ketchup in the to-go order, why not ask if it's wanted? Idon't like ketchup and hate throwing away McGarry's ketchup. Same with the tartar sauce. Wow, one of the best Irish pubs I've been to. Was lunch for work, so no alcohol, but they have a draft root beer that was... simply amazing. The food was amazing too. Service? Our server was super friendly and on top of things. Looking forward togoing back some day. Read more
I am in town for work and saw this place on the way back to the room. We stopped on a Friday a few weeks ago and have stopped... every Friday since. The food is amazing, they have a nice selection of beers on tap. Its cozy and has a really nice atmosphere.I ordered the corned beef and cabbage and am afraid I won't be able to order anything other than that from now on. Read more
The lady bartending was phenomenal. Food was absolutely perfect and full of flavor. We had the adult Mac and cheese with bacon,... corn dogs, and I had a grilled cheese sandwich with squash soup lunch special. Great portions and reasonably priced. We willdefinitely go back. Read more
I just had the best French onion soup of my life! It was authentic with rye croutons, cheese, and all around goodness. The beef... stroganoff had very deep flavors but was, in my opinion, a little too sweet. Read more
